None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.

Islam is built on five pillars: testifying that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger, establishing prayer, paying zakat, performing Hajj, and fasting Ramadan.
ইসলাম পাঁচটি স্তম্ভের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত: সাক্ষ্য দেওয়া যে আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোনো ইলাহ নেই এবং মুহাম্মাদ তাঁর রাসূল, নামাজ কায়েম করা, যাকাত দেওয়া, হজ পালন করা এবং রমজানে রোযা রাখা।
Faith has over seventy branches. The highest is the declaration that there is no god but Allah, and the lowest is removing something harmful from the road.
ঈমানের সত্তরটিরও বেশি শাখা রয়েছে। সর্বোচ্চ হলো লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ বলা, এবং সর্বনিম্ন হলো রাস্তা থেকে কষ্টদায়ক বস্তু সরানো।
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও শেষ দিবসে বিশ্বাস করে, সে যেন ভালো কথা বলে অথবা চুপ থাকে।
He has tasted the sweetness of faith who is content with Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion, and Muhammad as his messenger.
সে ঈমানের স্বাদ পেয়েছে যে আল্লাহকে রব, ইসলামকে দীন এবং মুহাম্মাদকে রাসূল হিসেবে সন্তুষ্টচিত্তে মেনে নিয়েছে।
Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; if he cannot, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.
তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কোনো অন্যায় দেখলে সে যেন তা হাত দিয়ে পরিবর্তন করে; যদি না পারে তবে মুখে; যদি তাও না পারে তবে অন্তরে — আর এটি ঈমানের দুর্বলতম স্তর।
Allah does not look at your appearance or wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds.
আল্লাহ তোমাদের চেহারা বা সম্পদ দেখেন না, বরং তোমাদের অন্তর ও আমল দেখেন।
A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim. He does not wrong him, nor does he let him down.
মুসলিম মুসলিমের ভাই। সে তার উপর জুলুম করে না এবং তাকে অসহায় অবস্থায় ছেড়ে দেয় না।
There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, nor of a non-Arab over an Arab, nor of a white person over a black one, nor of a black person over a white one, except by piety.
আরবের উপর অনারবের, অনারবের উপর আরবের, সাদার উপর কালোর, কালোর উপর সাদার কোনো শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব নেই — তাকওয়া ছাড়া।
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও শেষ দিবসে বিশ্বাস করে, সে যেন তার মেহমানকে সম্মান করে।
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him maintain ties of kinship.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও শেষ দিবসে বিশ্বাস করে, সে যেন আত্মীয়তার সম্পর্ক বজায় রাখে।
By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! It was said: Who, O Messenger of Allah? He said: The one whose neighbor is not safe from his harm.
আল্লাহর কসম সে মুমিন নয়! আল্লাহর কসম সে মুমিন নয়! আল্লাহর কসম সে মুমিন নয়! বলা হলো: কে, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল? তিনি বললেন: যার প্রতিবেশী তার অনিষ্ট থেকে নিরাপদ নয়।
The religion is sincerity. We asked: To whom? He said: To Allah, His Book, His Messenger, the leaders of the Muslims, and their common people.
দীন হলো নসীহত। আমরা জিজ্ঞেস করলাম: কার জন্য? তিনি বললেন: আল্লাহ, তাঁর কিতাব, তাঁর রাসূল, মুসলিম নেতৃবৃন্দ ও সাধারণ মুসলিমদের জন্য।
There are three qualities whoever has them will taste the sweetness of faith: that Allah and His Messenger are dearer to him than anything else, that he loves a person only for the sake of Allah, and that he hates to return to disbelief as he hates to be thrown into the Fire.
তিনটি গুণ যার মধ্যে থাকবে সে ঈমানের মিষ্টতা পাবে: আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসূল তার কাছে অন্য সবকিছু থেকে প্রিয় হওয়া, কাউকে শুধু আল্লাহর জন্যই ভালোবাসা, এবং কুফরে ফিরে যাওয়া আগুনে নিক্ষিপ্ত হওয়ার মতো অপছন্দ করা।
The key to Paradise is prayer.
জান্নাতের চাবি হলো নামাজ।
Between a man and shirk (polytheism) and kufr (disbelief) is the abandonment of prayer.
একজন ব্যক্তি এবং শিরক ও কুফরের মধ্যে পার্থক্য হলো নামাজ পরিত্যাগ করা।
Pray as you have seen me pray.
তোমরা সেভাবে নামাজ পড়ো যেভাবে আমাকে নামাজ পড়তে দেখেছো।
The closest a servant is to his Lord is during prostration, so increase your supplications therein.
বান্দা তার রবের সবচেয়ে নিকটে থাকে সিজদারত অবস্থায়, তাই সিজদায় বেশি বেশি দু'আ করো।
If people knew the reward of the call to prayer and the first row, and found no other way to get it except by drawing lots, they would draw lots.
মানুষ যদি আযান দেওয়া ও প্রথম কাতারে দাঁড়ানোর সওয়াব জানত, তাহলে লটারি করে হলেও তা অর্জন করত।
Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing.
নিশ্চয়ই নামাজ অশ্লীলতা ও মন্দ কাজ থেকে বিরত রাখে।
Whoever is regular in praying four units before and four after Dhuhr, Allah will make the Fire forbidden for him.
যে ব্যক্তি যোহরের আগে চার রাকাত ও পরে চার রাকাত নিয়মিত পড়ে, আল্লাহ তার জন্য জাহান্নাম হারাম করে দেন।
The first thing a servant will be held accountable for on the Day of Judgment from his deeds is his prayer.
কিয়ামতের দিন বান্দার আমলের মধ্যে সর্বপ্রথম যে বিষয়ে হিসাব নেওয়া হবে তা হলো তার নামাজ।
The congregational prayer is twenty-seven degrees better than the prayer offered individually.
জামাতে নামাজ একাকী নামাজের চেয়ে সাতাশ গুণ উত্তম।
Whoever prays the two cool prayers (Fajr and Asr) will enter Paradise.
যে ব্যক্তি দুই ঠান্ডা নামাজ (ফজর ও আসর) পড়ে সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে।
The two units of prayer before Fajr are better than the world and everything in it.
ফজরের দুই রাকাত সুন্নাত দুনিয়া ও তার মধ্যে যা কিছু আছে তার চেয়ে উত্তম।
Whoever performs wudu and does it well, his sins depart from his body, even from beneath his nails.
যে ব্যক্তি অযু করে এবং ভালোভাবে অযু করে, তার শরীর থেকে গুনাহ বের হয়ে যায়, এমনকি নখের নিচ থেকেও।
Whoever prays twelve units (sunnah prayers) during the day and night, a house will be built for him in Paradise.
যে ব্যক্তি দিনে ও রাতে বারো রাকাত (সুন্নাত নামাজ) পড়ে, তার জন্য জান্নাতে একটি ঘর বানানো হবে।
Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning or evening, Allah prepares for him an abode in Paradise every time he goes.
যে ব্যক্তি সকালে বা সন্ধ্যায় মসজিদে যায়, আল্লাহ তার জন্য প্রতিবার যাওয়ায় জান্নাতে আবাস তৈরি করেন।
When the prayer is established, do not come to it running, but come walking with tranquility.
যখন নামাজ শুরু হয়, দৌড়ে আসো না, বরং শান্তভাবে হেঁটে আসো।
The five daily prayers and Friday to Friday are atonement for what is between them, so long as major sins are avoided.
পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত নামাজ এবং এক জুমা থেকে আরেক জুমা — এগুলোর মধ্যবর্তী গুনাহের কাফফারা, যতক্ষণ কবীরা গুনাহ থেকে বিরত থাকা হয়।
Whoever stands in prayer on the Night of Decree with faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.
যে ব্যক্তি ঈমান ও সওয়াবের আশায় লাইলাতুল কদরে নামাজ পড়ে, তার পূর্ববর্তী গুনাহ মাফ করে দেওয়া হয়।
The deeds most beloved to Allah are those done consistently, even if they are small.
আল্লাহর কাছে সবচেয়ে প্রিয় আমল হলো যা নিয়মিত করা হয়, যদিও তা অল্প হয়।
Cleanliness is half of faith.
পরিচ্ছন্নতা ঈমানের অর্ধেক।
Whoever walks to a prescribed prayer in congregation, it is like performing Hajj.
যে ব্যক্তি জামাতে ফরজ নামাজের জন্য হেঁটে যায়, তা হজের সমান।
When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained.
রমজান শুরু হলে জান্নাতের দরজাগুলো খুলে দেওয়া হয়, জাহান্নামের দরজাগুলো বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়, এবং শয়তানদের শিকলে বেঁধে রাখা হয়।
Whoever fasts Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, their previous sins will be forgiven.
যে ব্যক্তি ঈমান ও সওয়াবের আশায় রমজানে রোযা রাখে, তার পূর্ববর্তী গুনাহ মাফ করে দেওয়া হয়।
Fasting is a shield (against sin and Hell-fire).
রোযা হলো ঢাল (পাপ ও জাহান্নামের আগুন থেকে রক্ষাকবচ)।
Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it, Allah has no need of his giving up food and drink.
যে ব্যক্তি মিথ্যা কথা ও মিথ্যা আচরণ ত্যাগ করে না, তার পানাহার ত্যাগ করায় আল্লাহর কোনো প্রয়োজন নেই।
The one who fasts has two joys: the joy when breaking the fast, and the joy when meeting his Lord.
রোযাদারের জন্য দুটি আনন্দ রয়েছে: ইফতারের সময়ের আনন্দ এবং তার রবের সাথে সাক্ষাতের আনন্দ।
Whoever stands in prayer during Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.
যে ব্যক্তি ঈমান ও সওয়াবের আশায় রমজানে তারাবীহ পড়ে, তার পূর্ববর্তী গুনাহ মাফ করে দেওয়া হয়।
Whoever provides iftar to a fasting person will have a reward like his without diminishing the fasting person's reward at all.
যে ব্যক্তি কোনো রোযাদারকে ইফতার করায়, সে রোযাদারের সমান সওয়াব পাবে, অথচ রোযাদারের সওয়াব কিছুই কমবে না।
An Umrah in Ramadan is equal (in reward) to a Hajj.
রমজানে উমরা হজের সমান (সওয়াবে)।
Seek the Night of Decree in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan.
রমজানের শেষ দশ রাতের বেজোড় রাতগুলোতে লাইলাতুল কদর তালাশ করো।
Whoever fasts a day for the sake of Allah, Allah will distance his face from the Hell-fire by seventy years.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর রাস্তায় একদিন রোযা রাখে, আল্লাহ তার চেহারাকে জাহান্নাম থেকে সত্তর বছরের দূরত্বে সরিয়ে দেন।
Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal, it will be as if he fasted the entire year.
যে ব্যক্তি রমজানে রোযা রাখে এবং এরপর শাওয়ালের ছয়টি রোযা রাখে, সে যেন সারা বছর রোযা রাখল।
The Messenger of Allah was the most generous of people, and he was most generous during Ramadan.
রাসূলুল্লাহ ছিলেন সবচেয়ে দানশীল, এবং রমজানে তাঁর দানশীলতা আরও বৃদ্ধি পেত।
Hold on to fasting, for there is nothing equal to it.
রোজা আঁকড়ে ধরো, কারণ এর সমতুল্য কিছু নেই।
If any of you is fasting, let him not use foul language or raise his voice. If someone insults or fights him, let him say: I am fasting.
তোমাদের কেউ রোযা থাকলে সে যেন অশ্লীল কথা না বলে ও চিৎকার না করে। কেউ গালি দিলে বা ঝগড়া করলে সে যেন বলে: আমি রোযাদার।
The best fasting after Ramadan is fasting in the month of Muharram.
রমজানের পর সর্বোত্তম রোযা হলো আল্লাহর মাস মুহাররমের রোযা।
Charity does not decrease wealth.
সদাকাহ সম্পদ কমায় না।
Save yourself from the Hell-fire even with half a date (given in charity).
জাহান্নামের আগুন থেকে বাঁচো, এক টুকরো খেজুর দান করে হলেও।
The upper hand (the giving hand) is better than the lower hand (the receiving hand).
উপরের হাত (দানকারী) নিচের হাত (গ্রহণকারী) থেকে উত্তম।
Every act of goodness is charity.
প্রতিটি ভালো কাজই সদাকাহ।
Charity extinguishes sin just as water extinguishes fire.
সদাকাহ পাপ নির্বাপণ করে যেমন পানি আগুন নেভায়।
Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর জন্য একটি মসজিদ নির্মাণ করে, আল্লাহ তার জন্য জান্নাতে একটি ঘর নির্মাণ করবেন।
Charity is a proof (of faith).
সদাকাহ (ঈমানের) প্রমাণ।
There is no day upon which the servants wake except that two angels descend. One says: O Allah, give the one who spends a replacement. The other says: O Allah, give the one who withholds destruction.
প্রতিদিন সকালে দুইজন ফেরেশতা অবতরণ করেন। একজন বলেন: হে আল্লাহ, দানকারীকে বিনিময় দিন। আরেকজন বলেন: হে আল্লাহ, কৃপণকে ধ্বংস দিন।
Seven will be shaded by Allah on a Day when there is no shade except His... and a man who gives charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand spends.
সাত ব্যক্তিকে আল্লাহ সেদিন তাঁর ছায়ায় আশ্রয় দেবেন যেদিন তাঁর ছায়া ছাড়া কোনো ছায়া থাকবে না... এবং এমন ব্যক্তি যে এতটা গোপনে দান করে যে তার বাম হাত জানে না ডান হাত কী খরচ করেছে।
Every joint of a person must perform charity every day the sun rises: acting justly between two people is charity.
মানুষের প্রতিটি জোড়ায় প্রতিদিন সদাকাহ আবশ্যক: দুই ব্যক্তির মাঝে ন্যায়বিচার করা সদাকাহ।
An accepted Hajj has no reward except Paradise.
কবুল হজের প্রতিদান জান্নাত ছাড়া কিছুই নয়।
Whoever performs Hajj without obscenity or transgression returns (free of sin) as the day his mother bore him.
যে ব্যক্তি হজ করে এবং অশ্লীলতা ও পাপাচার থেকে বিরত থাকে, সে (গুনাহ থেকে পবিত্র হয়ে) সেদিনের মতো ফিরে আসে যেদিন তার মা তাকে জন্ম দিয়েছিলেন।
Alternate between Hajj and Umrah, for they remove poverty and sins.
হজ ও উমরা পরপর আদায় করো, কারণ এ দুটি দারিদ্র্য ও গুনাহ দূর করে।
Hajj is Arafah (the standing at Arafah is the essence of Hajj).
হজ হলো আরাফা (আরাফায় অবস্থান হজের মূল)।
There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than on the Day of Arafah.
আরাফার দিনের চেয়ে বেশি কোনো দিনে আল্লাহ জাহান্নাম থেকে বান্দাদের মুক্তি দেন না।
Fasting the Day of Arafah — I hope from Allah that it expiates the sins of the year before and the year after.
আরাফার দিনের রোযা — আমি আল্লাহর কাছে আশা করি এটি পূর্ববর্তী এক বছর ও পরবর্তী এক বছরের গুনাহ মুছে দেবে।
Tawaf around the House (Ka'bah) is like prayer, except that Allah has permitted speaking during it.
বায়তুল্লাহ তাওয়াফ নামাজের মতো, তবে আল্লাহ এতে কথা বলা অনুমতি দিয়েছেন।
No good deeds are better than those done in these days — meaning the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
এই দিনগুলোতে — অর্থাৎ যিলহজের প্রথম দশ দিনে — আমলের চেয়ে উত্তম আমল আর কোনো দিনে নেই।
The Black Stone is from Paradise.

A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe.
মুসলিম সেই ব্যক্তি যার জিহ্বা ও হাত থেকে অন্য মুসলমানরা নিরাপদ।
Smiling at your brother is an act of charity.
তোমার ভাইয়ের মুখে হাসি দেওয়া তোমার জন্য সদাকাহ।
The strong person is not the one who can wrestle others, but the one who controls himself at the time of anger.
শক্তিশালী সেই নয় যে কুস্তিতে অন্যকে হারায়, বরং শক্তিশালী সেই যে রাগের সময় নিজেকে সংযত রাখতে পারে।
Whoever is not merciful to others will not be treated mercifully by Allah.
যে মানুষের প্রতি দয়া করে না, আল্লাহও তার প্রতি দয়া করেন না।
Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise.
সত্যবাদিতা পুণ্যের দিকে নিয়ে যায়, আর পুণ্য জান্নাতের দিকে নিয়ে যায়।
No one who has an atom's weight of arrogance in his heart will enter Paradise.
যার অন্তরে অণু পরিমাণ অহংকার আছে সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে না।
Beware of envy, for envy consumes good deeds just as fire consumes wood.
হিংসা থেকে সাবধান, কারণ হিংসা নেকি খেয়ে ফেলে যেমন আগুন কাঠ খেয়ে ফেলে।
Whoever suppresses his anger when he is able to act on it, Allah will call him before all of creation on the Day of Judgment.
যে ব্যক্তি রাগ কার্যকর করার সামর্থ্য থাকা সত্ত্বেও তা সংবরণ করে, আল্লাহ কিয়ামতের দিন সমস্ত সৃষ্টির সামনে তাকে ডাকবেন।
Have modesty before Allah as is His right.
আল্লাহর প্রতি যথার্থ লজ্জা অবলম্বন করো।
I was sent only to perfect good character.
আমি প্রেরিত হয়েছি উত্তম চরিত্রের পূর্ণতা দিতে।
The most beloved of you to me and the closest to me on the Day of Judgment are those of you with the best character.
আমার কাছে তোমাদের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে প্রিয় এবং কিয়ামতের দিন আমার সবচেয়ে কাছে বসবে তারাই যাদের চরিত্র সবচেয়ে ভালো।
Do not belittle any good deed, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face.
কোনো ভালো কাজকে তুচ্ছ মনে করো না, এমনকি তোমার ভাইয়ের সাথে হাসিমুখে সাক্ষাৎ করাও।
Modesty is a branch of faith.
লজ্জা ঈমানের অংশ।
Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech.
খারাপ ধারণা থেকে সাবধান, কারণ খারাপ ধারণা হলো সবচেয়ে মিথ্যা কথা।
The most complete of the believers in faith is the one with the best character, and the best of you are those who are best to their women.
ঈমানে সবচেয়ে পরিপূর্ণ মুমিন সে যার চরিত্র সবচেয়ে ভালো, এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম সে যে তার স্ত্রীদের কাছে সর্বোত্তম।
Whoever humbles himself for the sake of Allah, Allah will raise him.
যে আল্লাহর জন্য বিনয়ী হয়, আল্লাহ তাকে উচ্চ করেন।
The most beloved of people to Allah are the most beneficial to people.
আল্লাহর কাছে সবচেয়ে প্রিয় মানুষ তারা যারা মানুষের সবচেয়ে বেশি উপকার করে।
Allah does not increase a servant who forgives except in honor.
ক্ষমা করার কারণে আল্লাহ বান্দার সম্মান বৃদ্ধি করেন।
The example of a good companion and a bad companion is like a perfume seller and a blacksmith's bellows.
ভালো সঙ্গী ও মন্দ সঙ্গীর দৃষ্টান্ত সুগন্ধি বিক্রেতা ও কামারের হাপরের মতো।
The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family.
তোমাদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম সেই যে তার পরিবারের কাছে সর্বোত্তম, আর আমি আমার পরিবারের কাছে তোমাদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম।
Paradise lies beneath the feet of mothers.
জান্নাত মায়ের পায়ের নিচে।
He who severs ties of kinship shall not enter Paradise.
আত্মীয়তার সম্পর্ক ছিন্নকারী জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে না।
The believers, in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion, are like one body. When one limb suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.
মুমিনরা পরস্পরের প্রতি ভালোবাসা, দয়া ও সহানুভূতিতে একটি দেহের মতো। যখন একটি অঙ্গ কষ্ট পায়, সারা শরীর অনিদ্রা ও জ্বরে আক্রান্ত হয়।
Disgraced is he! Disgraced is he! Disgraced is he! It was said: Who, O Messenger of Allah? He said: He who finds his parents in old age, one or both of them, and does not enter Paradise (by serving them).
তার নাক ধুলায় মলিন হোক! তার নাক ধুলায় মলিন হোক! তার নাক ধুলায় মলিন হোক! জিজ্ঞেস করা হলো: কে, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল? তিনি বললেন: যে তার পিতামাতাকে বৃদ্ধ বয়সে পেয়েছে, একজন অথবা উভয়কে, তবুও জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করেনি (তাদের সেবার মাধ্যমে)।
Whoever would like his provision to be increased and his life extended, let him maintain ties of kinship.
যে চায় তার রিজিক বৃদ্ধি পাক ও আয়ু দীর্ঘ হোক, সে যেন আত্মীয়তার সম্পর্ক বজায় রাখে।
The one who maintains ties of kinship is not the one who reciprocates. Rather, it is the one who, when his relatives cut him off, still maintains ties with them.
আত্মীয়তার সম্পর্ক রক্ষাকারী সে নয় যে প্রতিদান দেয়। বরং সে, যার আত্মীয়রা সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন করলেও সে সম্পর্ক বজায় রাখে।
Shall I not inform you of the greatest of the great sins? Associating others with Allah and disobedience to parents.
আমি কি তোমাদের সবচেয়ে বড় গুনাহ সম্পর্কে জানাব না? আল্লাহর সাথে শিরক করা এবং পিতামাতার অবাধ্যতা।
Treat women kindly.
নারীদের সাথে ভালো ব্যবহার করো।
Whoever raises two daughters until they reach maturity will come on the Day of Judgment with me and him like this — and he joined his fingers.
যে ব্যক্তি দুটি কন্যাকে প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক হওয়া পর্যন্ত লালন-পালন করে, সে কিয়ামতের দিন আমার সাথে এভাবে আসবে — এই বলে তিনি আঙুলগুলো মিলিয়ে দেখালেন।
Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.
জ্ঞান অর্জন করা প্রতিটি মুসলিমের উপর ফরজ।
Whoever follows a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make the path to Paradise easy for him.
যে ব্যক্তি জ্ঞান অন্বেষণে কোনো পথে চলে, আল্লাহ তার জন্য জান্নাতের পথ সহজ করে দেন।
Convey from me, even if it is one verse.
আমার পক্ষ থেকে পৌঁছে দাও, যদি একটি আয়াতও হয়।
The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.
তোমাদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম তারা যারা কুরআন শেখে এবং অন্যদের শেখায়।
When a person dies, their deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.
মানুষ মারা গেলে তার আমল বন্ধ হয়ে যায় তিনটি ছাড়া: সদাকায়ে জারিয়া, উপকারী ইলম, অথবা নেককার সন্তান যে তার জন্য দু'আ করে।
When Allah wills good for someone, He grants him understanding of the religion.
আল্লাহ যার কল্যাণ চান, তাকে দীনের গভীর জ্ঞান দান করেন।
The scholars are the heirs of the prophets.
আলেমরা হলেন নবীদের উত্তরাধিকারী।
The superiority of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the full moon over the rest of the stars.
আবেদের উপর আলেমের শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব পূর্ণিমার চাঁদের অন্যান্য তারকার উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্বের মতো।
Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah earns a good deed, and each good deed is multiplied by ten.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর কিতাব থেকে একটি অক্ষর পাঠ করে তার জন্য একটি নেকি, আর প্রতিটি নেকি দশগুণ বৃদ্ধি করা হয়।
Whoever conceals knowledge that he has will be bridled with a bridle of fire on the Day of Judgment.
যে ব্যক্তি জেনেশুনে জ্ঞান গোপন করে, কিয়ামতের দিন তাকে আগুনের লাগাম পরানো হবে।
Supplication (dua) is the essence of worship.
দু'আ হলো ইবাদাতের মূল।
Allah is Shy and Generous. He is shy when a person raises his hands to Him to turn them away empty-handed.
আল্লাহ লজ্জাশীল ও দানশীল। বান্দা যখন তাঁর দিকে হাত উঠায়, তখন তিনি সেগুলো খালি ফিরিয়ে দিতে লজ্জা করেন।
Nothing repels the divine decree except supplication.
তাকদীর রদ করতে পারে একমাত্র দু'আ।
Three supplications are answered: the supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of a parent for their child.
তিনটি দু'আ কবুল হয়: মজলুমের দু'আ, মুসাফিরের দু'আ এবং পিতামাতার সন্তানের জন্য দু'আ।
Whoever does not ask Allah, He becomes angry with him.
যে আল্লাহর কাছে চায় না, আল্লাহ তার উপর রাগ করেন।
The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered.
একজন মুসলিমের তার ভাইয়ের অনুপস্থিতিতে করা দু'আ কবুল হয়।
The best remembrance is 'La ilaha illallah' and the best supplication is 'Alhamdulillah'.
সর্বোত্তম জিকির হলো লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ, এবং সর্বোত্তম দু'আ হলো আলহামদুলিল্লাহ।
SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, SubhanAllahil-Azim — two words light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, beloved to the Most Merciful.
সুবহানাল্লাহি ওয়া বিহামদিহি, সুবহানাল্লাহিল আযীম — দুটি কথা জিহ্বায় হালকা, পাল্লায় ভারী, রহমানের কাছে প্রিয়।
Saying 'Alhamdulillah' fills the scales (of good deeds).
আলহামদুলিল্লাহ বলা (নেকির) পাল্লা পূর্ণ করে দেয়।
Ask Allah for forgiveness and well-being, for no one is given anything better after certainty of faith than well-being.
আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা ও সুস্থতা চাও, কারণ ঈমানের দৃঢ়তার পর সুস্থতার চেয়ে উত্তম কিছু কাউকে দেওয়া হয়নি।
Every son of Adam commits sin, and the best of sinners are those who repent.
আদম সন্তান মাত্রই পাপী, আর পাপীদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম হলো তওবাকারীরা।
Allah extends His hand at night so that the sinners of the day may repent, and He extends His hand during the day so that the sinners of the night may repent.
আল্লাহ রাতে তাঁর হাত প্রসারিত করেন যাতে দিনের পাপী তওবা করে, এবং দিনে তাঁর হাত প্রসারিত করেন যাতে রাতের পাপী তওবা করে।
The one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin.
পাপ থেকে তওবাকারী এমন যেন তার কোনো পাপ নেই।
Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His servant than one of you who finds his lost camel in the desert.
আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দার তওবায় তোমাদের সেই ব্যক্তির চেয়েও বেশি খুশি হন যে মরুভূমিতে হারিয়ে যাওয়া উট ফিরে পায়।
O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness from Me and I shall forgive you.
হে আমার বান্দারা, তোমরা রাতে ও দিনে পাপ করো, আর আমি সমস্ত পাপ ক্ষমা করি, তাই আমার কাছে ক্ষমা চাও, আমি তোমাদের ক্ষমা করব।
Allah accepts the repentance of the servant as long as the soul has not reached the throat.
আল্লাহ বান্দার তওবা কবুল করেন যতক্ষণ না প্রাণ গলায় এসে পৌঁছায়।
Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Verily, He is the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সকল পাপ ক্ষমা করেন। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and women, Allah will record a good deed for him for each believing man and woman.
যে ব্যক্তি মুমিন নারী-পুরুষের জন্য ক্ষমা চায়, আল্লাহ প্রতিটি মুমিন নারী-পুরুষের বিনিময়ে তার জন্য একটি নেকি লিখে দেন।
Whoever says 'I seek forgiveness from Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him' — his sins will be forgiven even if he fled from battle.
যে বলে 'আমি আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা চাই যিনি ছাড়া কোনো ইলাহ নেই, তিনি চিরঞ্জীব ও সর্বসত্তার ধারক, এবং আমি তাঁর কাছে তওবা করি' — তার গুনাহ মাফ করা হবে, যদিও সে যুদ্ধের ময়দান থেকে পালিয়ে থাকে।
By Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him more than seventy times a day.
আল্লাহর কসম, আমি প্রতিদিন সত্তর বারেরও বেশি আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা চাই এবং তওবা করি।
Remember frequently the destroyer of pleasures: death.
আনন্দ বিনাশকারী মৃত্যুকে বেশি বেশি স্মরণ করো।
Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a traveler.
দুনিয়াতে এমনভাবে থাকো যেন তুমি একজন অপরিচিত বা পথিক।
Three things follow the deceased: his family, his wealth, and his deeds. Two return and one remains — his family and wealth return, and his deeds remain.
মৃত ব্যক্তির সাথে তিনটি জিনিস যায়: তার পরিবার, সম্পদ ও আমল। দুটি ফিরে আসে আর একটি থেকে যায় — পরিবার ও সম্পদ ফিরে আসে, আর আমল থেকে যায়।
The grave is the first stage of the Hereafter.
কবর হলো আখিরাতের প্রথম মনজিল।
Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; and whoever dislikes meeting Allah, Allah dislikes meeting him.
যে আল্লাহর সাক্ষাৎ পছন্দ করে, আল্লাহও তার সাক্ষাৎ পছন্দ করেন; আর যে আল্লাহর সাক্ষাৎ অপছন্দ করে, আল্লাহও তার সাক্ষাৎ অপছন্দ করেন।
Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your busyness, and your life before your death.
পাঁচটি জিনিসকে পাঁচটির আগে গনিমত মনে করো: বার্ধক্যের আগে যৌবন, অসুস্থতার আগে সুস্থতা, দারিদ্র্যের আগে সচ্ছলতা, ব্যস্ততার আগে অবসর, এবং মৃত্যুর আগে জীবন।
Paradise is surrounded by hardships, and Hell-fire is surrounded by desires.
জান্নাতকে কষ্ট দিয়ে ঘিরে রাখা হয়েছে, আর জাহান্নামকে প্রবৃত্তির আকর্ষণ দিয়ে ঘিরে রাখা হয়েছে।
There are two blessings which many people waste: health and free time.
দুটি নিয়ামত আছে যা অনেক মানুষ অপচয় করে: স্বাস্থ্য ও অবসর সময়।
There is none among you but his Lord will speak to him directly, with no interpreter between them.
তোমাদের প্রত্যেকের সাথে তার রব সরাসরি কথা বলবেন, তাঁর ও তার মাঝে কোনো অনুবাদক থাকবে না।
In Paradise there is that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has imagined.
জান্নাতে এমন জিনিস আছে যা কোনো চোখ দেখেনি, কোনো কান শোনেনি, এবং কোনো মানুষের মনে কল্পনাও আসেনি।
The truthful and trustworthy merchant will be with the prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs.
সত্যবাদী ও বিশ্বস্ত ব্যবসায়ী নবী, সিদ্দীক ও শহীদদের সাথে থাকবে।
May Allah have mercy on a person who is lenient when selling, when buying, and when asking for payment.
আল্লাহ সেই ব্যক্তির প্রতি রহম করুন যে বিক্রয়ে, ক্রয়ে এবং পাওনা আদায়ে নম্র।
The buyer and seller have the option to cancel as long as they have not parted. If they are truthful and transparent, their transaction will be blessed.
ক্রেতা ও বিক্রেতার বিচ্ছিন্ন না হওয়া পর্যন্ত বাতিলের অধিকার আছে। যদি তারা সত্যবাদী ও স্বচ্ছ হয়, তাহলে তাদের লেনদেনে বরকত হবে।
Whoever deceives us is not one of us.
যে আমাদের সাথে প্রতারণা করে সে আমাদের দলভুক্ত নয়।
Whoever hoards (goods to raise prices) is a sinner.
যে ব্যক্তি (দাম বাড়ানোর জন্য) মজুদদারি করে সে পাপী।
The best earnings are from the work of one's own hands and from every honest sale.
সর্বোত্তম উপার্জন হলো নিজ হাতের কাজ এবং প্রতিটি সৎ বেচাকেনা।
Do not sell over the sale of your brother.
তোমাদের কেউ যেন অন্যের বেচাকেনার উপর বেচাকেনা না করে।
Whoever cancels a transaction for a Muslim who regrets it, Allah will forgive his slips on the Day of Judgment.
যে ব্যক্তি কোনো মুসলিমের অনুতাপের লেনদেন বাতিল করে দেয়, আল্লাহ কিয়ামতের দিন তার ভুল ক্ষমা করবেন।
Whoever gives respite to one in difficulty or forgives his debt, Allah will shade him on the Day of Judgment.
যে ব্যক্তি কোনো অভাবীকে সময় দেয় বা তার ঋণ মাফ করে দেয়, আল্লাহ তাকে তাঁর ছায়ায় আশ্রয় দেবেন।
Interest (riba), even if it increases, its end result is decrease.
সুদ, যদিও তা বৃদ্ধি পায়, তবে এর পরিণাম হ্রাস।
How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for all his affairs are good, and this is for no one except the believer.
মুমিনের বিষয়টি কতই না আশ্চর্যজনক! তার সকল বিষয়ই তার জন্য কল্যাণকর, আর এটি মুমিন ছাড়া আর কারো জন্য নয়।
No fatigue, illness, anxiety, sorrow, harm, or grief befalls a Muslim — even the prick of a thorn — except that Allah expiates some of his sins thereby.
কোনো মুসলিমের ক্লান্তি, রোগ, উদ্বেগ, দুঃখ, কষ্ট বা চিন্তা — এমনকি কাঁটা বিঁধলেও — আল্লাহ তার বিনিময়ে তার কিছু গুনাহ মাফ করে দেন।
The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. If Allah loves a people, He tests them.
বড় পরীক্ষার সাথে বড় পুরস্কার আসে। আল্লাহ যখন কোনো জাতিকে ভালোবাসেন, তখন তাদের পরীক্ষা করেন।
Look at those below you and do not look at those above you, for it is more suitable that you do not belittle the blessings of Allah.
তোমাদের নিচে যারা আছে তাদের দিকে তাকাও, এবং তোমাদের উপরে যারা আছে তাদের দিকে তাকিও না, এতে তোমরা আল্লাহর নিয়ামতকে অবজ্ঞা করবে না।
True patience is at the first stroke of calamity.
প্রকৃত ধৈর্য হলো বিপদের প্রথম আঘাতে।
He who does not thank people has not thanked Allah.
যে মানুষকে ধন্যবাদ দেয় না, সে আল্লাহর শুকরিয়া আদায় করে না।
Whoever among you wakes up safe in his dwelling, healthy in his body, having his daily provision — it is as if the whole world has been gathered for him.
তোমাদের মধ্যে যে ব্যক্তি নিরাপদ ঘরে, সুস্থ শরীরে এবং দিনের খাবার নিয়ে সকাল করে, তার যেন পুরো দুনিয়া দেওয়া হয়েছে।
Know that what has befallen you was not going to miss you, and what has missed you was not going to befall you.
জেনে রাখো, যা তোমার কাছে এসেছে তা তোমাকে এড়িয়ে যাওয়ার ছিল না, আর যা তোমাকে এড়িয়ে গেছে তা তোমার কাছে আসার ছিল না।
Allah is pleased with His servant who praises Him when he eats food.
আল্লাহ তাঁর সেই বান্দার প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হন যে খাবার খেয়ে তাঁর প্রশংসা করে।
Whoever tries to be patient, Allah will make him patient. No one is given a gift better and more comprehensive than patience.
যে ধৈর্য ধরতে চেষ্টা করে, আল্লাহ তাকে ধৈর্যশীল করেন। ধৈর্যের চেয়ে উত্তম ও ব্যাপক কোনো দান কাউকে দেওয়া হয়নি।
The hand of Allah is with the community.
আল্লাহর হাত জামাআতের সাথে।
A believer to another believer is like a building whose parts support each other.
একজন মুমিন অপর মুমিনের জন্য ইমারতের মতো, যার এক অংশ অন্য অংশকে শক্তিশালী করে।
Do not envy one another, do not inflate prices against one another, do not hate one another, do not turn away from one another — be, O servants of Allah, brothers.
একে অপরকে হিংসা করো না, দাম বাড়িয়ো না, ঘৃণা করো না, পরস্পর থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিও না — হে আল্লাহর বান্দারা, ভাই ভাই হয়ে যাও।
Whoever fulfills the need of his brother, Allah will fulfill his need.
যে তার ভাইয়ের প্রয়োজন পূরণ করে, আল্লাহ তার প্রয়োজন পূরণ করবেন।
Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship of this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship of the Day of Judgment.
যে ব্যক্তি কোনো মুমিনের দুনিয়ার একটি কষ্ট দূর করে, আল্লাহ কিয়ামতের দিন তার একটি কষ্ট দূর করবেন।
The best companion in the sight of Allah is the best to his companion, and the best neighbor is the best to his neighbor.
আল্লাহর কাছে সর্বোত্তম সঙ্গী সে যে তার সঙ্গীর কাছে সর্বোত্তম, এবং সর্বোত্তম প্রতিবেশী সে যে তার প্রতিবেশীর কাছে সর্বোত্তম।
It is not permissible for a Muslim to forsake his brother for more than three days.
কোনো মুসলিমের জন্য তার ভাইয়ের সাথে তিন দিনের বেশি সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন রাখা বৈধ নয়।
Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Judgment.
যে ব্যক্তি কোনো মুসলিমের দোষ ঢেকে রাখে, আল্লাহ কিয়ামতের দিন তার দোষ ঢেকে রাখবেন।
The best of people are those most beneficial to people.
মানুষের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম তারা যারা মানুষের সবচেয়ে বেশি উপকার করে।
Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.
যে দয়া করে না, তাকে দয়া করা হয় না।
The just will be on pulpits of light before Allah.
ন্যায়পরায়ণরা আল্লাহর কাছে নূরের মিম্বারে থাকবে।
Beware of oppression, for oppression will be darkness on the Day of Judgment.
জুলুম থেকে বেঁচে থাকো, কারণ জুলুম কিয়ামতের দিন অন্ধকার হবে।
Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or is being oppressed.
তোমার ভাইকে সাহায্য করো, সে জালেম হোক বা মাজলুম।
Fear the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.
মজলুমের দু'আকে ভয় করো, কারণ তার ও আল্লাহর মাঝে কোনো পর্দা নেই।
The most beloved of deeds to Allah is a word of truth spoken before a tyrannical ruler.
আল্লাহর কাছে সবচেয়ে প্রিয় আমল হলো অত্যাচারী শাসকের সামনে সত্য কথা বলা।
Any person whom Allah has given authority over people and dies while cheating them, Allah will make Paradise forbidden for him.
আল্লাহ যাকে জনগণের দায়িত্ব দিয়েছেন এবং সে তাদের সাথে প্রতারণা করে মারা যায়, আল্লাহ তার জন্য জান্নাত হারাম করবেন।
Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock.
তোমাদের প্রত্যেকেই দায়িত্বশীল এবং প্রত্যেকেই তার অধীনস্থদের সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসিত হবে।
When a judge passes judgment and strives to be correct and gets it right, he has two rewards. If he strives and errs, he has one reward.
বিচারক যখন রায় দেয় এবং চেষ্টা করে সঠিক সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়, তার জন্য দুটি পুরস্কার। আর যদি চেষ্টা করে ভুল করে, তার জন্য একটি পুরস্কার।
Allah has cursed the one who gives a bribe and the one who receives it.
আল্লাহ ঘুষদাতা ও ঘুষগ্রহীতা উভয়কে অভিশাপ দিয়েছেন।
Return the trust to the one who entrusted you, and do not betray the one who betrayed you.
যে তোমাকে আমানত দিয়েছে তার আমানত ফিরিয়ে দাও, এবং যে তোমার সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছে তার সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করো না।
No human ever filled a vessel worse than the stomach. It is sufficient for the son of Adam to eat a few morsels to keep his back straight.
মানুষ পেটের চেয়ে খারাপ কোনো পাত্র পূর্ণ করে না। আদম সন্তানের জন্য কয়েক গ্রাস খাবারই যথেষ্ট যা তার পিঠ সোজা রাখে।
The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, and there is good in both.
শক্তিশালী মুমিন দুর্বল মুমিনের চেয়ে উত্তম ও আল্লাহর কাছে অধিক প্রিয়, তবে উভয়ের মধ্যেই কল্যাণ আছে।
Seek treatment, for Allah has not created a disease without creating a cure for it.
চিকিৎসা নাও, কারণ আল্লাহ এমন কোনো রোগ সৃষ্টি করেননি যার প্রতিকার তিনি সৃষ্টি করেননি।
In the black seed there is a cure for every disease except death.
কালোজিরায় মৃত্যু ছাড়া প্রতিটি রোগের নিরাময় আছে।
Indeed, your body has a right over you.
নিশ্চয়ই তোমার শরীরের তোমার উপর অধিকার আছে।
Shall I not inform you of the best of your deeds and the purest before your Lord? The remembrance of Allah.
আমি কি তোমাদের সর্বোত্তম ও তোমাদের মালিকের কাছে সবচেয়ে পবিত্র আমলের সংবাদ দেব না? আল্লাহর জিকির।
Whoever says 'SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi' a hundred times a day, his sins will be wiped out even if they were like the foam of the sea.
যে ব্যক্তি দিনে একশত বার 'সুবহানাল্লাহি ওয়া বিহামদিহি' বলে, তার গুনাহ মুছে যাবে যদিও তা সমুদ্রের ফেনার মতো হয়।
'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.
'লা হাওলা ওয়ালা কুওয়াতা ইল্লা বিল্লাহ' জান্নাতের গুপ্তধনসমূহের একটি গুপ্তধন।
Whoever recites Surah Al-Ikhlas, it is as if he has recited a third of the Quran.
যে ব্যক্তি সূরা ইখলাস পাঠ করে, সে যেন কুরআনের এক-তৃতীয়াংশ পাঠ করল।
Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi at night will have a protector from Allah, and no devil will come near him until morning.
যে রাতে আয়াতুল কুরসী পাঠ করে, আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে তার রক্ষক থাকে, এবং সকাল পর্যন্ত কোনো শয়তান তার কাছে আসতে পারে না।
Night prayer is two by two. When one of you fears dawn, pray one unit (witr) to make what you have prayed odd.
রাতের নামাজ দুই দুই রাকাত করে। যখন সুবহে সাদিকের ভয় হয়, একটি রাকাত বিতর পড়ো।
Indeed, Allah has prescribed excellence (ihsan) in all things.
নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সকল কিছুতে ইহসান (উত্তম আচরণ) ফরজ করেছেন।
Straighten your rows, for straightening the rows is part of the perfection of prayer.
তোমাদের কাতারগুলো সোজা করো, কারণ কাতার সোজা করা নামাজের পূর্ণতার অংশ।
A neighbor has the most right to the neighborly preemption.
প্রতিবেশীর প্রতিবেশীর ব্যাপারে অগ্রাধিকার সবচেয়ে বেশি।
He does not truly believe in me who goes to sleep full while his neighbor beside him is hungry, and he knows of it.
সে আমার প্রতি ঈমান রাখে না, যে পেট ভরে খেয়ে ঘুমায় অথচ তার পাশের প্রতিবেশী ক্ষুধার্ত, আর সে তা জানে।
This world is provision, and the best provision of this world is a righteous wife.
দুনিয়া হলো সম্পদ, আর দুনিয়ার সর্বোত্তম সম্পদ হলো নেককার স্ত্রী।
The most detested of lawful things to Allah is divorce.
আল্লাহর কাছে সবচেয়ে ঘৃণিত হালাল হলো তালাক।
Whoever eats lawfully, acts according to the Sunnah, and people are safe from his harm will enter Paradise.
যে হালাল খায়, সুন্নাহ অনুযায়ী আমল করে এবং মানুষ তার অনিষ্ট থেকে নিরাপদ থাকে, সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে।
Whoever's Islam is good, every good deed he does will be recorded for him ten to seven hundred times its value.
যে ব্যক্তির ইসলাম উত্তম, তার প্রতিটি নেকি দশগুণ থেকে সাতশত গুণ পর্যন্ত লেখা হয়।
Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold.
যে আমার উপর একবার দরূদ পাঠ করে, আল্লাহ তার উপর দশবার রহমত বর্ষণ করেন।
Whoever guarantees me what is between his jaws and what is between his legs, I guarantee him Paradise.
যে আমাকে তার দুই চোয়ালের মাঝের (জিহ্বা) এবং দুই পায়ের মাঝের (লজ্জাস্থান) গ্যারান্টি দেবে, আমি তাকে জান্নাতের গ্যারান্টি দেব।
Whoever's last words are 'La ilaha illallah' will enter Paradise.
যার শেষ কথা হবে 'লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ' সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে।
Recite the Quran, for it will come on the Day of Judgment as an intercessor for its companions.
কুরআন তিলাওয়াত করো, কারণ কিয়ামতের দিন এটি তার পাঠকদের জন্য সুপারিশকারী হিসেবে আসবে।
The master of seeking forgiveness is to say: O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant.
ক্ষমা প্রার্থনার শ্রেষ্ঠ দু'আ হলো বলা: হে আল্লাহ, তুমি আমার রব, তুমি ছাড়া কোনো ইলাহ নেই। তুমি আমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছ এবং আমি তোমার বান্দা।
Whoever says 'La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah...' a hundred times a day will have the reward of freeing ten slaves.
যে ব্যক্তি দিনে একশত বার 'লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহু ওয়াহদাহু লা শারীকা লাহ...' পাঠ করে, তার জন্য দশটি দাস মুক্ত করার সমান সওয়াব হবে।
Faith has over seventy branches. The highest is the declaration that there is no god but Allah, and the lowest is removing something harmful from the road.
ঈমানের সত্তরটিরও বেশি শাখা রয়েছে। সর্বোচ্চ হলো লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ বলা, আর সর্বনিম্ন হলো রাস্তা থেকে কষ্টদায়ক বস্তু সরিয়ে দেওয়া।
He has tasted the sweetness of faith who is content with Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion, and Muhammad as his Messenger.
সে ঈমানের স্বাদ পেয়েছে যে আল্লাহকে রব, ইসলামকে দ্বীন এবং মুহাম্মাদকে রাসূল হিসেবে মেনে সন্তুষ্ট।
Whoever cheats us is not one of us.
যে আমাদের সাথে প্রতারণা করে সে আমাদের দলভুক্ত নয়।
No one who has an atom's weight of arrogance in his heart will enter Paradise.
যার অন্তরে বিন্দু পরিমাণ অহংকার আছে সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে না।
A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe.
মুসলিম সেই ব্যক্তি যার জিহ্বা ও হাত থেকে অন্য মুসলিমরা নিরাপদ।
By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! It was asked: Who, O Messenger of Allah? He said: The one whose neighbor is not safe from his mischief.
আল্লাহর কসম, সে মুমিন নয়! আল্লাহর কসম, সে মুমিন নয়! জিজ্ঞেস করা হলো: কে, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ? তিনি বললেন: যার প্রতিবেশী তার অনিষ্ট থেকে নিরাপদ নয়।
Prayer in congregation is twenty-seven times more meritorious than prayer performed individually.
জামাতে নামাজ একাকী নামাজের চেয়ে সাতাশ গুণ বেশি মর্যাদাপূর্ণ।
When one of you stands for prayer, he should not spit in front of him, for he is conversing with Allah as long as he is in his place of prayer.
তোমাদের কেউ যখন নামাজে দাঁড়ায়, সে যেন সামনে থুতু না ফেলে, কারণ সে যতক্ষণ নামাজের স্থানে থাকে ততক্ষণ আল্লাহর সাথে কথা বলে।
Whoever performs wudu and does it well, his sins will depart from his body, even from beneath his nails.
যে ব্যক্তি অযু করে এবং ভালোভাবে করে, তার শরীর থেকে গুনাহসমূহ বের হয়ে যায়, এমনকি তার নখের নিচ থেকেও।
If there were a river at the door of one of you and he bathed in it five times a day, would any dirt remain on him? That is the example of the five daily prayers.
তোমাদের কারো দরজায় যদি একটি নদী থাকে এবং সে দিনে পাঁচবার তাতে গোসল করে, তাহলে কি তার শরীরে কোনো ময়লা থাকবে? এটাই পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত নামাজের দৃষ্টান্ত।
Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.
যে ব্যক্তি ঈমান ও সওয়াবের আশায় রমজানে রোযা রাখে, তার পূর্বের সমস্ত গুনাহ ক্ষমা করে দেওয়া হয়।
Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it, Allah has no need for him to give up his food and drink.
যে ব্যক্তি মিথ্যা কথা ও মিথ্যা কাজ ত্যাগ করে না, তার পানাহার ত্যাগ করায় আল্লাহর কোনো প্রয়োজন নেই।
Fasting is a shield. So the fasting person should not use obscene language or behave ignorantly.
রোযা ঢালস্বরূপ। তাই রোযাদার ব্যক্তি অশ্লীল কথা বলবে না এবং মূর্খের মতো আচরণ করবে না।
Eat the pre-dawn meal (suhoor), for in it there is blessing.
সেহরি খাও, কারণ সেহরিতে বরকত রয়েছে।
Whoever fasts a day for the sake of Allah, Allah will keep his face away from the Hellfire for seventy years.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর রাস্তায় একদিন রোযা রাখে, আল্লাহ তার চেহারাকে জাহান্নাম থেকে সত্তর বছরের দূরত্বে রাখবেন।
Charity does not decrease wealth.
দান-সদকা সম্পদ কমায় না।
Protect yourselves from the Fire, even if with half a date.
জাহান্নামের আগুন থেকে বাঁচো, যদিও একটি খেজুরের অর্ধেক দিয়ে হয়।
The upper hand (the one that gives) is better than the lower hand (the one that takes).
উপরের হাত (দাতার হাত) নিচের হাত (গ্রহীতার হাত) থেকে উত্তম।
Every day two angels descend: one says 'O Allah, give to the one who spends,' and the other says 'O Allah, give destruction to the one who withholds.'
প্রতিদিন সকালে দুইজন ফেরেশতা অবতরণ করেন। একজন বলেন: হে আল্লাহ, দানকারীকে প্রতিদান দাও। অন্যজন বলেন: হে আল্লাহ, কৃপণকে ধ্বংস দাও।
Your smiling in the face of your brother is an act of charity.
তোমার ভাইয়ের মুখে হাসি দেওয়া তোমার জন্য সদকা।
Allah does not look at your appearance or wealth, but He looks at your hearts and deeds.
আল্লাহ তোমাদের চেহারা ও সম্পদের দিকে তাকান না, বরং তিনি তোমাদের অন্তর ও আমলের দিকে তাকান।
Whoever prays the two cool prayers (Fajr and Asr) will enter Paradise.
যে ব্যক্তি দুই ঠান্ডা ওয়াক্তের নামাজ (ফজর ও আসর) আদায় করে সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে।
The closest a servant is to his Lord is when he is prostrating, so increase your supplications.
বান্দা তার রবের সবচেয়ে নিকটে থাকে সেজদারত অবস্থায়, তাই বেশি বেশি দু'আ করো।
The night prayer is two by two. When one of you fears the dawn, pray one rak'ah to make what you have prayed odd (witr).
রাতের নামাজ দুই দুই রাকাত করে। যখন তোমাদের কেউ ফজরের আশঙ্কা করে, তখন এক রাকাত পড়ে নাও যা তার আগের নামাজকে বেজোড় করে দেবে।
Whoever stands in prayer during Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.
যে ব্যক্তি ঈমান ও সওয়াবের আশায় রমজানে কিয়ামুল লাইল আদায় করে, তার পূর্বের গুনাহ ক্ষমা করে দেওয়া হয়।
When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained.
রমজান আসলে জান্নাতের দরজাসমূহ খুলে দেওয়া হয়, জাহান্নামের দরজাসমূহ বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয় এবং শয়তানদের শৃঙ্খলিত করা হয়।
An Umrah in Ramadan is equal in reward to a Hajj — or a Hajj with me.
রমজানে একটি উমরাহ একটি হজের সমতুল্য — অথবা আমার সাথে হজের সমতুল্য।
Whoever performs Hajj and does not commit any obscenity or sin returns as sinless as a newborn child.
যে ব্যক্তি হজ করে এবং কোনো অশ্লীলতা ও পাপ করে না, সে সদ্যজাত শিশুর মতো নিষ্পাপ হয়ে ফিরে আসে।
From one Umrah to the next is expiation for what is between them, and an accepted Hajj has no reward except Paradise.
এক উমরাহ থেকে পরবর্তী উমরাহ পর্যন্ত মধ্যবর্তী সময়ের গুনাহের কাফফারা, আর মাবরুর হজের পুরস্কার জান্নাত ছাড়া কিছুই নয়।
Seven will be shaded by Allah on the Day when there is no shade but His.
সাত শ্রেণির মানুষকে আল্লাহ সেদিন তাঁর ছায়ায় আশ্রয় দেবেন যেদিন তাঁর ছায়া ছাড়া কোনো ছায়া থাকবে না।
Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a similar one in Paradise.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্য একটি মসজিদ নির্মাণ করে, আল্লাহ তার জন্য জান্নাতে অনুরূপ একটি ঘর নির্মাণ করেন।
Whoever treads a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make the path to Paradise easy for him.
যে ব্যক্তি জ্ঞান অন্বেষণে পথ চলে, আল্লাহ তার জন্য জান্নাতের পথ সহজ করে দেন।
The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.
তোমাদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম সেই ব্যক্তি যে কুরআন শেখে এবং অন্যকে শেখায়।
Convey from me, even if it is one verse.
আমার পক্ষ থেকে পৌঁছে দাও, যদিও একটি আয়াত হয়।
The superiority of the scholar over the worshipper is like the superiority of the moon over the rest of the stars.
আবেদের উপর আলেমের মর্যাদা চাঁদের মর্যাদার মতো বাকি তারকাদের উপর।
The most beloved of you to me and the closest to me on the Day of Judgment are those with the best character.
তোমাদের মধ্যে আমার কাছে সবচেয়ে প্রিয় এবং কিয়ামতের দিন আমার সবচেয়ে নিকটে থাকবে তারাই যাদের চরিত্র সবচেয়ে সুন্দর।
The most complete of the believers in faith is the one with the best character.
মুমিনদের মধ্যে ঈমানে সবচেয়ে পরিপূর্ণ সেই ব্যক্তি যার চরিত্র সবচেয়ে ভালো।
I was sent only to perfect noble character.
আমি কেবলমাত্র উত্তম চরিত্রকে পূর্ণতা দানের জন্য প্রেরিত হয়েছি।
Nothing is heavier on the believer's scale on the Day of Judgment than good character.
কিয়ামতের দিন মুমিনের পাল্লায় উত্তম চরিত্রের চেয়ে ভারী আর কিছু হবে না।
The strong man is not the one who can wrestle, but the one who controls himself at the time of anger.
শক্তিশালী সেই নয় যে কুস্তিতে অন্যকে হারায়, বরং শক্তিশালী সেই যে রাগের সময় নিজেকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে।
When one of you becomes angry while standing, let him sit down. If anger does not leave him, let him lie down.
তোমাদের কেউ দাঁড়ানো অবস্থায় রাগান্বিত হলে সে যেন বসে পড়ে। যদি রাগ না কমে, তাহলে শুয়ে পড়ুক।
When one of you becomes angry, let him perform wudu.
তোমাদের কেউ রাগান্বিত হলে সে যেন অযু করে।
Whoever suppresses his anger when he is able to act upon it, Allah will call him before all of creation on the Day of Judgment.
যে ব্যক্তি ক্রোধ বাস্তবায়ন করার ক্ষমতা থাকা সত্ত্বেও তা সংবরণ করে, আল্লাহ কিয়ামতের দিন সমস্ত সৃষ্টির সামনে তাকে ডাকবেন।
A person is upon the religion of his close friend, so let each of you look at whom he befriends.
মানুষ তার ঘনিষ্ঠ বন্ধুর ধর্মের উপর থাকে, তাই তোমাদের প্রত্যেকে দেখে নাও কাকে বন্ধু বানাচ্ছ।
Do not keep company except with a believer, and do not let anyone eat your food except one who is pious.
মুমিন ছাড়া কাউকে সঙ্গী বানিও না এবং তাকওয়াবান ব্যক্তি ছাড়া কাউকে তোমার খাবার খাওয়াইও না।
The example of a good and bad companion is like the bearer of musk and the blower of bellows.
ভালো ও মন্দ সঙ্গীর উদাহরণ হলো মিশকবাহক ও কামারের হাপরে ফুঁক দেওয়া ব্যক্তির মতো।
Souls are like recruited soldiers; those that recognize each other are at harmony, and those that don't reject each other.
আত্মারা একত্রিত সৈন্যের মতো; যারা পরস্পরকে চেনে তারা ঐক্যবদ্ধ হয়, আর যারা চেনে না তারা দূরে সরে যায়।
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও আখিরাতে বিশ্বাস করে, সে যেন তার প্রতিবেশীকে সম্মান করে।
Jibril kept advising me about the neighbor until I thought he would make him an heir.
জিবরাঈল আমাকে প্রতিবেশীর ব্যাপারে এতটা উপদেশ দিতে থাকলেন যে আমি মনে করলাম তিনি প্রতিবেশীকে উত্তরাধিকারী বানিয়ে দেবেন।
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও পরকালে বিশ্বাস রাখে সে যেন তার প্রতিবেশীকে কষ্ট না দেয়।
The best of companions to Allah is the best to his companion, and the best of neighbors to Allah is the best to his neighbor.
আল্লাহর কাছে সর্বোত্তম সঙ্গী সে যে তার সঙ্গীর জন্য সবচেয়ে ভালো, এবং সর্বোত্তম প্রতিবেশী সে যে তার প্রতিবেশীর জন্য সবচেয়ে ভালো।
Modesty brings nothing but goodness.
লজ্জাশীলতা কেবল কল্যাণই বয়ে আনে।
Modesty is a branch of faith.
লজ্জা ঈমানের একটি শাখা।
Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech.
সন্দেহ থেকে বেঁচে থাকো, কারণ সন্দেহ হলো সবচেয়ে মিথ্যা কথা।
Do not envy one another, do not outbid one another, do not hate one another, do not turn away from one another. Be servants of Allah, as brothers.
একে অন্যকে হিংসা করো না, প্রতারণামূলক দরদাম করো না, ঘৃণা করো না, পরস্পর থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিও না। আল্লাহর বান্দা হিসেবে ভাই ভাই হয়ে থাকো।
Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Judgment.
যে ব্যক্তি কোনো মুসলিমের দোষ গোপন রাখে, আল্লাহ কিয়ামতের দিন তার দোষ গোপন রাখবেন।
It is not permissible for a Muslim to forsake his brother for more than three nights.
কোনো মুসলিমের জন্য তার ভাইয়ের সাথে তিন রাতের বেশি সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন রাখা বৈধ নয়।
Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or is oppressed. Help the oppressor by preventing him from oppressing.
তোমার ভাইকে সাহায্য করো, সে জালেম হোক বা মাজলুম। জালেমকে সাহায্য করো তাকে জুলুম থেকে বিরত রেখে।
Whoever among you sees evil, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; if he cannot, then with his heart.
তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ অন্যায় দেখলে হাত দিয়ে প্রতিরোধ করুক; যদি না পারে তাহলে মুখ দিয়ে; যদি তাও না পারে তাহলে অন্তর দিয়ে।
Oppression will be layers of darkness on the Day of Judgment.
জুলুম কিয়ামতের দিন অন্ধকারের স্তূপ হবে।
Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.
মজলুমের দু'আ থেকে সাবধান থাকো, কারণ তার এবং আল্লাহর মাঝে কোনো পর্দা নেই।
Allah loves that when any of you does a task, he does it with excellence.
আল্লাহ পছন্দ করেন যে তোমাদের কেউ যখন কোনো কাজ করে তখন সে তা নিখুঁতভাবে করে।
The religion is sincerity and sincere advice.
দ্বীন হলো নসীহত (আন্তরিক উপদেশ)।
Allah does not accept any deed except that which is done sincerely for Him and seeking His pleasure.
আল্লাহ কোনো আমল কবুল করেন না যদি না তা একমাত্র তাঁর জন্যই নিবেদিত হয় এবং তাঁর সন্তুষ্টি কামনা করা হয়।
The first people to be judged on the Day of Judgment will include a man who was martyred (but fought for fame).
কিয়ামতের দিন সর্বপ্রথম যাদের বিচার হবে তাদের মধ্যে একজন হবে যে শহীদ হয়েছিল (কিন্তু সুনামের জন্য যুদ্ধ করেছিল)।
The world is cursed, and all that is in it is cursed, except the remembrance of Allah, what supports it, and a scholar or student.
দুনিয়া অভিশপ্ত, এর মধ্যে যা কিছু আছে সবই অভিশপ্ত, তবে আল্লাহর যিকর ও তৎসংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয় এবং আলেম ও শিক্ষার্থী ব্যতীত।
When Allah wills good for someone, He grants him understanding of the religion.
আল্লাহ যার কল্যাণ চান তাকে দ্বীনের বুঝ দান করেন।
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও আখিরাতে বিশ্বাস করে, সে যেন ভালো কথা বলে অথবা চুপ থাকে।
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest.
যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও পরকালে বিশ্বাস রাখে, সে যেন তার মেহমানকে সম্মান করে।
The best among you are those who have the best character.
তোমাদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম সেই ব্যক্তি যার আচার-ব্যবহার সবচেয়ে সুন্দর।
He who does not thank people has not thanked Allah.
যে মানুষের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে না, সে আল্লাহর প্রতিও কৃতজ্ঞ নয়।
If you are grateful, I will surely increase My blessings upon you.
তোমরা যদি কৃতজ্ঞ হও, তাহলে অবশ্যই আমি তোমাদের নিয়ামত বৃদ্ধি করব।
Look at those below you and do not look at those above you, for that is more likely to prevent you from belittling Allah's blessings.
তোমাদের নিচের দিকে তাকাও, উপরের দিকে তাকিও না, কারণ এটাই আল্লাহর নিয়ামতকে অবজ্ঞা না করার সবচেয়ে ভালো উপায়।
Whoever wakes up safe in his dwelling, healthy in body, having his day's provisions, it is as if the entire world has been gathered for him.
যে ব্যক্তি সকালে নিরাপদে ঘরে জেগে ওঠে, শরীরে সুস্থ থাকে এবং তার কাছে দিনের খাবার থাকে, তার জন্য যেন পুরো দুনিয়াটাই একত্র করা হয়েছে।
Purification is half of faith.
পবিত্রতা ঈমানের অর্ধেক।
Allah is clean and loves cleanliness, He is pure and loves purity.
আল্লাহ পবিত্র এবং পবিত্রতা পছন্দ করেন, তিনি পরিষ্কার এবং পরিচ্ছন্নতা পছন্দ করেন।
Five are part of the natural disposition: circumcision, shaving the pubic region, trimming nails, plucking the armpits, and trimming the mustache.
পাঁচটি বিষয় ফিতরাতের অন্তর্ভুক্ত: খতনা, নাভির নিচের পশম পরিষ্কার, নখ কাটা, বগলের পশম তোলা এবং গোঁফ ছোট করা।
The miswak purifies the mouth and is pleasing to the Lord.
মিসওয়াক মুখের পরিচ্ছন্নতা এবং রবের সন্তুষ্টির মাধ্যম।
When one of you wakes from sleep, let him not dip his hand into the vessel until he washes it three times.
তোমাদের কেউ ঘুম থেকে জাগলে, তিনবার হাত না ধোয়া পর্যন্ত যেন পাত্রে হাত ডোবায় না।
When one of you yawns, let him cover his mouth with his hand.
তোমাদের কেউ হাই তুললে সে যেন হাত দিয়ে মুখ ঢেকে রাখে।
When one of you sneezes, let him say 'Alhamdulillah' and let his companion say 'Yarhamukallah.'
তোমাদের কেউ হাঁচি দিলে সে যেন বলে 'আলহামদুলিল্লাহ', আর তার সঙ্গী যেন বলে 'ইয়ারহামুকাল্লাহ'।
It is not permissible for a Muslim to frighten another Muslim.
কোনো মুসলিমের জন্য অন্য মুসলিমকে ভয় দেখানো বৈধ নয়।
Do not sell over the sale of others, and do not propose marriage over the proposal of others.
তোমরা অন্যের বিক্রির উপর বিক্রি করো না এবং অন্যের প্রস্তাবের উপর বিয়ের প্রস্তাব দিও না।
May Allah have mercy on a person who is lenient when he sells, when he buys, and when he asks for payment.
আল্লাহ সেই ব্যক্তির প্রতি দয়া করুন যে কেনাবেচায় ও পাওনা আদায়ে নম্রতা দেখায়।
The best of you are those who are best to their families, and I am the best of you to my family.
তোমাদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম সেই ব্যক্তি যে তার পরিবারের কাছে সবচেয়ে ভালো, আর আমি আমার পরিবারের কাছে তোমাদের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে ভালো।
Treat women kindly.
নারীদের সাথে সদ্ব্যবহার করো।
Paradise lies beneath the feet of mothers.
জান্নাত মায়ের পায়ের নিচে।
Whoever raises two girls until they reach maturity, he and I will come on the Day of Judgment like this — and he joined his fingers.
যে ব্যক্তি দুটি মেয়েকে প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক হওয়া পর্যন্ত লালন-পালন করে, কিয়ামতের দিন আমি ও সে এভাবে থাকব — এই বলে তিনি দুই আঙুল একত্র করলেন।
Whoever is tested with daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield from the Fire for him.
যাকে কন্যাসন্তান দিয়ে পরীক্ষা করা হয় এবং সে তাদের সাথে সদ্ব্যবহার করে, তারা তার জন্য জাহান্নাম থেকে ঢাল হবে।
Women are the counterparts of men.
নারীরা পুরুষদের সমকক্ষ।
The most complete of the believers in faith is the best in character, and the best of you are those who are best to their women.
ঈমানে সবচেয়ে পরিপূর্ণ মুমিন সেই যে চরিত্রে সবচেয়ে উত্তম, আর তোমাদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম সেই যে তার স্ত্রীদের কাছে সবচেয়ে ভালো।
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer.
হে আমার রব, আমাকে, আমার মাতা-পিতাকে এবং যে মুমিন হিসেবে আমার ঘরে প্রবেশ করে তাকে ক্ষমা করো।
Disgraced is he, disgraced is he, disgraced is he who finds his parents in old age and does not enter Paradise through serving them.
ধ্বংস হোক, ধ্বংস হোক, ধ্বংস হোক সেই ব্যক্তি যে তার মাতা-পিতাকে বার্ধক্যে পেয়েও তাদের সেবার মাধ্যমে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করতে পারল না।
The Lord's pleasure is in the pleasure of the parent, and the Lord's displeasure is in the displeasure of the parent.
রবের সন্তুষ্টি পিতা-মাতার সন্তুষ্টিতে এবং রবের অসন্তুষ্টি পিতা-মাতার অসন্তুষ্টিতে।

তোমাদের সন্তানদের সাত বছর বয়সে নামাজের আদেশ দাও।
Every child is born upon the fitrah (natural disposition). Then his parents make him a Jew, Christian, or Zoroastrian.
প্রতিটি শিশু ফিতরাতের (স্বভাবধর্ম) উপর জন্মগ্রহণ করে। তারপর তার পিতা-মাতা তাকে ইহুদি, খ্রিষ্টান বা অগ্নিপূজক বানায়।

Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.
যে দয়া করে না তাকে দয়া করা হয় না।
He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young and respect to our elders.
সে আমাদের দলভুক্ত নয় যে আমাদের ছোটদের স্নেহ করে না এবং বড়দের সম্মান করে না।
When a person dies, his deeds cease except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.
মানুষ মারা গেলে তার আমল বন্ধ হয়ে যায় তিনটি ব্যতীত: সদকায়ে জারিয়া, উপকারী ইলম, অথবা নেককার সন্তান যে তার জন্য দু'আ করে।
Choose well for your offspring; marry those who are suitable and give in marriage to them.
তোমাদের বংশের জন্য ভালো নির্বাচন করো; উপযুক্ত জোড়ায় বিয়ে করো এবং তাদের কাছে বিয়ে দাও।
A woman is married for four things: her wealth, lineage, beauty, and religion. Choose the religious one, may your hands be blessed.
চারটি কারণে নারীকে বিয়ে করা হয়: তার সম্পদ, বংশমর্যাদা, সৌন্দর্য ও ধার্মিকতা। তুমি দ্বীনদার নারীকে বেছে নাও, তোমার হাত ধন্য হোক।
O young people, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so.

The best dinar a man spends is one he spends on his family.
সর্বোত্তম দিনার হলো সেটি যা একজন ব্যক্তি তার পরিবারের জন্য ব্যয় করে।
It is sufficient sin for a person to neglect those whom he is responsible for feeding.
একজন ব্যক্তির পাপের জন্য এটাই যথেষ্ট যে সে তার অধীনস্থদের ভরণ-পোষণে অবহেলা করে।
Whoever has three daughters and is patient with them, feeds them, gives them drink, and clothes them, they will be a shield from the Fire.
যার তিনটি কন্যা আছে এবং সে তাদের ব্যাপারে ধৈর্য ধরে, তাদের খাওয়ায়, পান করায় ও পোশাক দেয়, তারা তার জন্য জাহান্নাম থেকে পর্দা হবে।

তোমাদের প্রত্যেকেই দায়িত্বশীল এবং প্রত্যেকেই তার অধীনস্থদের সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসিত হবে।
Indeed your spouse has a right over you, your guest has a right over you, and your body has a right over you.
নিশ্চয়ই তোমার স্ত্রীর তোমার উপর অধিকার আছে, তোমার অতিথির তোমার উপর অধিকার আছে এবং তোমার শরীরের তোমার উপর অধিকার আছে।
The best possession in the world is a righteous wife.
দুনিয়ার সর্বোত্তম সম্পদ হলো একজন নেককার স্ত্রী।
Whoever spends on his family seeking reward from Allah, it will be counted as charity for him.
যে ব্যক্তি সওয়াবের আশায় পরিবারের জন্য ব্যয় করে, তা তার জন্য সদকা হিসেবে গণ্য হবে।
None but a noble person honors women, and none but an ignoble person dishonors them.
মহৎ ব্যক্তি ছাড়া কেউ নারীদের সম্মান করে না, আর নীচ ব্যক্তি ছাড়া কেউ নারীদের অসম্মান করে না।
If a woman prays her five prayers, fasts her month, guards her chastity, and obeys her husband, she will enter Paradise from whichever gate she wishes.
যদি কোনো নারী পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত নামাজ পড়ে, রমজানে রোযা রাখে, ইজ্জত হেফাজত করে এবং স্বামীর আনুগত্য করে, তাকে বলা হবে: জান্নাতের যে দরজা দিয়ে ইচ্ছা প্রবেশ করো।
Whoever takes care of any of these girls and treats them well, they will be a protection from the Fire for him.

No Muslim plants a tree or sows a crop from which a bird, person, or animal eats, except that it is charity for him.
কোনো মুসলিম যদি একটি গাছ লাগায় বা ফসল বোনে এবং তা থেকে পাখি, মানুষ বা পশু খায়, তাহলে তা তার জন্য সদকা হবে।
If the Hour comes and one of you has a seedling in his hand, let him plant it if he can before it happens.
কিয়ামত দাঁড়িয়ে যাচ্ছে এমন সময় যদি তোমাদের কারো হাতে একটি চারা থাকে এবং সে রোপণ করতে পারে, তাহলে যেন তা রোপণ করে নেয়।
Whoever kills a sparrow in vain, it will cry out to Allah on the Day of Judgment saying: My Lord, so-and-so killed me in vain.
যে ব্যক্তি অযথা একটি চড়ুই পাখি হত্যা করে, কিয়ামতের দিন সেই পাখি আল্লাহর কাছে ফরিয়াদ করবে: হে রব, অমুক আমাকে অযথা মেরেছে।
A woman entered the Fire because of a cat she tied up: she did not feed it nor let it eat from the insects of the ground.
একজন নারী একটি বিড়ালের কারণে জাহান্নামে গেল — সে বিড়ালটিকে বেঁধে রেখেছিল, খাওয়ায়নি এবং মাটির পোকামাকড় খেতেও ছাড়েনি।
A man was walking and became very thirsty. He found a well, drank, then saw a dog panting from thirst. He gave the dog water, and Allah thanked him and forgave him.
একজন লোক পথ চলতে গিয়ে তীব্র তৃষ্ণার্ত হলো। সে কূপে নেমে পানি পান করল। তারপর দেখল একটি কুকুর তৃষ্ণায় কাতরাচ্ছে। সে কুকুরটিকে পানি খাওয়াল, আল্লাহ তাকে ক্ষমা করে দিলেন।
There is reward in serving every living being.
প্রতিটি প্রাণবান জীবের সেবায় সওয়াব রয়েছে।
Allah has prescribed excellence in all things. So when you kill, kill well; and when you slaughter, slaughter well.
আল্লাহ সবকিছুতে ইহসান (শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব) ফরয করেছেন। তাই যখন হত্যা করো তো ভালোভাবে করো, যখন জবাই করো তো ভালোভাবে করো।
The Messenger of Allah forbade taking any living creature as a target.
রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কোনো প্রাণীকে নিশানা বানাতে নিষেধ করেছেন।
When you travel through fertile land, give your camels their share of the earth (let them graze).
যখন তোমরা উর্বর ভূমিতে সফর করো, তখন উটদের তাদের প্রাপ্য (চরানোর সুযোগ) দাও।
Travel is a portion of punishment.

When three people go on a journey, let them appoint one of them as their leader.
তিনজন একসাথে সফরে গেলে তাদের একজনকে আমীর (নেতা) বানিয়ে নেবে।
It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel a day and night's journey without a mahram.
আল্লাহ ও পরকালে বিশ্বাসী কোনো নারীর জন্য মাহরাম ছাড়া একদিন-একরাতের সফর করা বৈধ নয়।
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel, from a distressing sight, and from a bad return.
হে আল্লাহ, আমি তোমার কাছে সফরের কষ্ট, দুঃখজনক দৃশ্য এবং মন্দ পরিণতি থেকে আশ্রয় চাই।
Eat, drink, give charity, and wear clothes without extravagance or vanity.
খাও, পান করো, দান করো এবং পোশাক পরো — তবে অপচয় ও অহংকার ছাড়া।
No human fills a vessel worse than his stomach.
মানুষ পেটের চেয়ে খারাপ কোনো পাত্র পূর্ণ করে না।
Say the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is nearest to you.
আল্লাহর নাম নাও, ডান হাতে খাও এবং তোমার কাছের দিক থেকে খাও।
The one who eats and is grateful is like the one who fasts and is patient.
যে ব্যক্তি খায় এবং শোকর করে সে ধৈর্যশীল রোযাদারের সমান মর্যাদায়।
The food of two is sufficient for three, and the food of three is sufficient for four.
দুইজনের খাবার তিনজনের জন্য যথেষ্ট, আর তিনজনের খাবার চারজনের জন্য যথেষ্ট।
Supplication (dua) is the essence of worship.

No Muslim makes a supplication free of sin and cutting ties of kinship without Allah giving him one of three things: an immediate answer, a stored reward, or the avoidance of an equivalent evil.

The supplication of any of you is answered as long as he is not impatient, saying: I made dua but it was not answered.
তোমাদের দু'আ কবুল হতে থাকে যতক্ষণ না সে তাড়াহুড়ো করে বলে: আমি দু'আ করলাম কিন্তু কবুল হলো না।
Allah is shy and generous; He is ashamed to turn away empty the hands of His servant when he raises them to Him.
আল্লাহ লজ্জাশীল ও দানশীল; বান্দা যখন তাঁর কাছে হাত তোলে তখন খালি হাতে ফিরিয়ে দিতে তিনি লজ্জা পান।
The most beloved words to Allah are four: SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah, and Allahu Akbar.
আল্লাহর কাছে সবচেয়ে প্রিয় চারটি কথা: সুবহানাল্লাহ, আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ এবং আল্লাহু আকবার।

Whoever says 'SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi' a hundred times a day will have his sins forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea.
যে ব্যক্তি দিনে একশত বার 'সুবহানাল্লাহি ওয়া বিহামদিহি' বলে, তার গুনাহ মাফ করে দেওয়া হয় যদিও তা সমুদ্রের ফেনার মতো হয়।
Shall I not tell you of the best and purest of your deeds before your Master? The remembrance of Allah.
আমি কি তোমাদের সর্বোত্তম ও সবচেয়ে পবিত্র আমলের কথা বলব না? আল্লাহর যিকর।
Allah extends His hand at night to accept the repentance of the daytime sinner, and extends His hand during the day for the nighttime sinner.
আল্লাহ রাতে হাত প্রসারিত করেন যাতে দিনের গুনাহগার তওবা করে, এবং দিনে হাত প্রসারিত করেন যাতে রাতের গুনাহগার তওবা করে।
Allah is more joyful at the repentance of His servant than one of you who finds his lost camel in the desert.
আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দার তওবায় তোমাদের কারো চেয়ে বেশি খুশি হন, যে মরুভূমিতে হারিয়ে যাওয়া উট ফিরে পায়।
Every son of Adam sins, and the best of sinners are those who repent.
প্রতিটি আদম সন্তান গুনাহগার, আর গুনাহগারদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম তারাই যারা তওবা করে।
The one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin.
গুনাহ থেকে তওবাকারী এমন যেন তার কোনো গুনাহই নেই।
Remember often the destroyer of pleasures — death.
সকল সুখের বিনাশকারীকে বেশি বেশি স্মরণ করো — অর্থাৎ মৃত্যু।
The grave is the first stage of the stages of the Hereafter.
কবর হলো আখিরাতের প্রথম মনযিল।
Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler.
দুনিয়ায় এমনভাবে থাকো যেন তুমি একজন অপরিচিত অথবা পথিক।
Every one of you will speak with his Lord directly, with no interpreter between them.
তোমাদের প্রত্যেককে তার রব সরাসরি কথা বলবেন, তাদের মাঝে কোনো দোভাষী থাকবে না।
Allah will gather people on the Day of Judgment barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised.
আল্লাহ কিয়ামতের দিন মানুষকে নগ্নপদ, বস্ত্রহীন ও খতনাবিহীন অবস্থায় একত্রিত করবেন।
The first thing a servant will be held accountable for on the Day of Judgment is his prayer.
কিয়ামতের দিন বান্দার আমলের মধ্যে সর্বপ্রথম যার হিসাব নেওয়া হবে তা হলো নামাজ।
Death will be brought in the form of a ram and slaughtered between Paradise and the Fire.
মৃত্যুকে একটি ভেড়ার আকৃতিতে আনা হবে এবং জান্নাত ও জাহান্নামের মাঝে জবাই করা হবে।
If the believer knew what punishment Allah has, none would hope for His Paradise. If the disbeliever knew what mercy Allah has, none would despair of Paradise.
মুমিন যদি জানত আল্লাহর কাছে কী শাস্তি আছে, তাহলে কেউ জান্নাতের আশা করত না। আর কাফের যদি জানত আল্লাহর কাছে কী রহমত আছে, তাহলে কেউ জান্নাত থেকে নিরাশ হতো না।
A space in Paradise the size of a bow is better than everything the sun rises or sets upon.
জান্নাতে ধনুকের একটুকু জায়গা সূর্য যার উপর উদিত ও অস্ত যায় তার সবকিছু থেকে উত্তম।
Whoever fears sets out at night, and whoever sets out at night will reach the destination. Indeed, Allah's merchandise is expensive — indeed, it is Paradise.
যে ভয় করে সে রাতের শুরুতে যাত্রা করে, আর যে রাতে যাত্রা করে সে গন্তব্যে পৌঁছে। জেনে রাখো, আল্লাহর পণ্য মূল্যবান — জেনে রাখো, আল্লাহর পণ্য হলো জান্নাত।
Paradise is surrounded by hardships, and the Fire is surrounded by desires.
জান্নাত কষ্ট দিয়ে ঘেরা, আর জাহান্নাম প্রবৃত্তি দিয়ে ঘেরা।
Seek forgiveness from your Lord; I seek Allah's forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day.
তোমাদের রবের কাছে ক্ষমা চাও; আমি দিনে সত্তর বারেরও বেশি আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা চাই ও তওবা করি।
Our Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven in the last third of the night saying: Who will call upon Me that I may answer?
আমাদের রব প্রতি রাতে শেষ তৃতীয়াংশে দুনিয়ার আসমানে অবতরণ করেন এবং বলেন: কে আমাকে ডাকবে যে আমি তার ডাকে সাড়া দেব?
The best remembrance is 'La ilaha illallah' and the best supplication is 'Alhamdulillah.'
সর্বোত্তম যিকর হলো 'লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ' এবং সর্বোত্তম দু'আ হলো 'আলহামদুলিল্লাহ'।
Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every obligatory prayer, nothing prevents him from entering Paradise except death.
যে ব্যক্তি প্রতি ফরজ নামাজের পর আয়াতুল কুরসী পাঠ করে, মৃত্যু ছাড়া আর কিছুই তাকে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করতে বাধা দেয় না।
Whoever reads Surah al-Kahf on Friday will have a light between the two Fridays.
যে ব্যক্তি জুমুআর দিনে সূরা কাহফ পাঠ করে, দুই জুমুআর মধ্যবর্তী সময়ে তার জন্য নূর আলোকিত হবে।
Read Surah al-Baqarah, for adhering to it is a blessing and neglecting it is a regret.

Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah will have one good deed, and one good deed is multiplied by ten.

যখন কোনো দল আল্লাহর ঘরে একত্র হয়ে কুরআন তিলাওয়াত ও অধ্যয়ন করে, তাদের উপর প্রশান্তি নাজিল হয়, রহমত তাদের ঢেকে নেয়, ফেরেশতারা তাদের ঘিরে রাখে এবং আল্লাহ তাঁর নিকটবর্তীদের কাছে তাদের উল্লেখ করেন।
True patience is at the first stroke of calamity.
প্রকৃত ধৈর্য হলো বিপদের প্রথম আঘাতের সময়।
How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for all his affairs are good — and this is for no one but the believer.
মুমিনের ব্যাপারটি আশ্চর্যজনক, তার সকল বিষয়ই কল্যাণকর — আর এটি কেবল মুমিনের জন্যই।
No fatigue, illness, anxiety, sadness, harm, or grief befalls a Muslim — even the prick of a thorn — except that Allah expiates some of his sins by it.
কোনো মুসলিমের ক্লান্তি, অসুস্থতা, উদ্বেগ, দুঃখ, কষ্ট বা চিন্তা — এমনকি কাঁটা ফোটাও — যা-ই হোক না কেন, আল্লাহ এর দ্বারা তার কিছু গুনাহ মাফ করে দেন।
The greatness of reward comes with the greatness of trial.
বিপদের মাত্রা যত বড়, পুরস্কারও তত বড়।
When Allah wants good for His servant, He hastens his punishment in this world.
আল্লাহ যখন কোনো বান্দার কল্যাণ চান, তখন দুনিয়াতেই তার শাস্তি দ্রুত দিয়ে দেন।
There is no contagion (without Allah's will), no evil omen, no nocturnal bird omen, and no Safar superstition.
আল্লাহর ইচ্ছা ছাড়া সংক্রমণ নেই, অশুভ লক্ষণ নেই, পেঁচার অশুভ ধারণা নেই এবং সফর মাসের কুসংস্কার নেই।
Allah has not sent down a disease except that He has also sent down its cure.
আল্লাহ এমন কোনো রোগ নাযিল করেননি যার প্রতিকার তিনি নাযিল করেননি।
Seek treatment, O servants of Allah, for Allah has not placed a disease without placing a remedy for it.
হে আল্লাহর বান্দারা, চিকিৎসা গ্রহণ করো, কারণ আল্লাহ এমন কোনো রোগ রাখেননি যার ওষুধ রাখেননি।
The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer.

There are two blessings which many people lose: health and free time.
দুটি নিয়ামত আছে যেগুলোতে অনেক মানুষ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত: স্বাস্থ্য ও অবসর।
Whoever eats seven Ajwa dates from Madinah in the morning will not be harmed by poison or magic that day.
যে ব্যক্তি সকালে মদিনার সাতটি আজওয়া খেজুর খায়, সেদিন কোনো বিষ বা জাদু তার ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না।
Hasten to do good deeds before trials come like pieces of a dark night.
অন্ধকার রাতের টুকরোর মতো ফিতনা আসার আগেই সৎকর্মে দ্রুত এগিয়ে যাও।
Whoever prays twelve voluntary rak'ahs in a day and night, a house will be built for him in Paradise.
যে ব্যক্তি দিনে ও রাতে বারো রাকাত সুন্নাত নামাজ পড়ে, তার জন্য জান্নাতে একটি ঘর নির্মাণ করা হবে।
The most beloved deed to Allah is the most consistent, even if it is small.
আল্লাহর কাছে সবচেয়ে প্রিয় আমল হলো যা নিয়মিত করা হয়, যদিও তা অল্প হোক।
A servant may speak a word that he does not give much thought to, which causes him to slip into the Fire farther than the distance between east and west.
একজন বান্দা এমন একটি কথা বলে যে তার গুরুত্ব বুঝতে পারে না, কিন্তু এটি তাকে পূর্ব-পশ্চিমের দূরত্বের চেয়ে বেশি দূরে জাহান্নামে নিক্ষেপ করে।
Whoever guarantees me what is between his jaws and what is between his legs, I will guarantee him Paradise.

The bankrupt of my Ummah is one who comes on the Day of Judgment with prayers, fasting, and zakat, but also having insulted, slandered, and consumed the wealth of others.
আমার উম্মতের প্রকৃত দেউলিয়া সেই ব্যক্তি যে কিয়ামতের দিন নামাজ, রোযা ও যাকাত নিয়ে আসবে কিন্তু অমুককে গালি দিয়েছে, অমুকের সম্পদ খেয়েছে।
Whoever's last words are 'La ilaha illallah' will enter Paradise.
যার শেষ কথা হবে 'লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ' সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে।
When one of you goes to bed, let him dust off his bedding with the inside of his garment, for he does not know what has come onto it after him.
তোমাদের কেউ বিছানায় যাওয়ার সময় কাপড়ের ভেতরের অংশ দিয়ে বিছানা ঝেড়ে নিক, কারণ সে জানে না তার পরে কী এসেছে।
Every night when the Prophet went to bed, he would cup his hands, blow into them, and recite Surah al-Ikhlas and the two surahs of seeking refuge, then wipe his body.
নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম প্রতি রাতে বিছানায় যাওয়ার সময় দুই হাত একত্র করে ফুঁ দিতেন এবং সূরা ইখলাস ও মু'আওয়িযাতাইন পড়ে শরীরে হাত বুলাতেন।
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live (said before sleeping).
হে আল্লাহ, তোমার নামে আমি মরি এবং বাঁচি (ঘুমানোর আগে বলা হয়)।
The Prophet used to sleep on his right side.
নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ডান পাশে ফিরে ঘুমাতেন।
When one of you gets up at night for prayer, let him begin with two light rak'ahs.
তোমাদের কেউ রাতে তাহাজ্জুদের জন্য উঠলে দুই রাকাত হালকা নামাজ দিয়ে শুরু করুক।
The Messenger of Allah forbade a person from sleeping on his stomach.
রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম উপুড় হয়ে ঘুমাতে নিষেধ করেছেন।
Two eyes will not be touched by the Fire: an eye that wept from fear of Allah and an eye that spent the night guarding in the path of Allah.
দুটি চোখকে জাহান্নামের আগুন স্পর্শ করবে না: যে চোখ আল্লাহর ভয়ে কেঁদেছে এবং যে চোখ আল্লাহর রাস্তায় পাহারায় রাত কাটিয়েছে।
The buyer and seller have the option to cancel as long as they have not parted.
ক্রেতা ও বিক্রেতা একে অপর থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন না হওয়া পর্যন্ত ক্রয়-বিক্রয় বাতিলের অধিকার রাখে।
The truthful and trustworthy merchant will be with the Prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs.
সত্যবাদী ও বিশ্বস্ত ব্যবসায়ী নবী, সিদ্দীক ও শহীদদের সাথে থাকবে।
Whoever hoards (essential goods) is sinful.
যে মজুদদারি করে সে পাপী।
Do not be envious of one another, do not hate one another, do not undercut one another's sales. Be brothers, O servants of Allah.
পরস্পর হিংসা করো না, ঘৃণা করো না, একে অন্যের ব্যবসায় ক্ষতি করো না। হে আল্লাহর বান্দারা, ভাই ভাই হয়ে থাকো।
Fulfill the trust of the one who entrusted you, and do not betray the one who betrayed you.
যে তোমাকে আমানত রেখেছে তার আমানত ফিরিয়ে দাও, আর যে তোমার সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছে তার সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করো না।
Riba (usury), even if it increases, will eventually lead to decrease.
সুদ যতই বৃদ্ধি পাক, শেষ পরিণতিতে তা হ্রাসই ডেকে আনে।
Two hungry wolves let loose among sheep are not more destructive to them than a person's greed for wealth and status is to his religion.
দুটি ক্ষুধার্ত নেকড়ে মেষপালে ছেড়ে দিলে যতটা ক্ষতি করে, সম্পদ ও মর্যাদার লোভ একজনের দ্বীনের তার চেয়ে বেশি ক্ষতি করে।
If the son of Adam had two valleys of wealth, he would seek a third. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust.
আদম সন্তানের যদি দুই উপত্যকা ভর্তি সম্পদ থাকে, সে তৃতীয়টি চাইবে। মাটি ছাড়া আদম সন্তানের পেট ভরে না।
Richness is not having many possessions, but richness is the contentment of the soul.
ধনী হওয়া মানে সম্পদের আধিক্য নয়, বরং প্রকৃত ধনী হলো অন্তরের তৃপ্তি।
The believers in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion are like one body: if one part complains, the rest of the body responds with sleeplessness and fever.
মুমিনরা পারস্পরিক ভালোবাসা, দয়া ও সহানুভূতিতে একটি দেহের মতো। যখন একটি অঙ্গ অসুস্থ হয়, বাকি শরীর জ্বর ও অনিদ্রায় ভোগে।
A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim; he does not wrong him nor abandon him.
মুসলিম মুসলিমের ভাই; সে তার উপর জুলুম করে না এবং তাকে অসহায় ছেড়ে দেয় না।
The hand of Allah is with the community.
আল্লাহর হাত জামাতের (সম্মিলিত দলের) সাথে।
Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold.
যে আমার উপর একবার দরূদ পাঠায়, আল্লাহ তার উপর দশবার রহমত বর্ষণ করেন।
The best fasting after Ramadan is in the month of Allah, al-Muharram.
রমজানের পর সর্বোত্তম রোযা হলো আল্লাহর মাস মুহাররমে রোযা।
Whoever fasts six days of Shawwal after Ramadan, it is as if he fasted the entire year.
যে ব্যক্তি রমজানের পর শাওয়ালে ছয়টি রোযা রাখে, সে যেন সারা বছর রোযা রাখল।
Fasting the day of Arafah — I hope from Allah that it expiates the sins of the year before it and the year after it.
আরাফার দিনের রোযা — আমি আল্লাহর কাছে আশা করি এটি আগের ও পরের বছরের গুনাহ মাফ করবে।
The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.
ফরজ নামাজের পর সর্বোত্তম নামাজ হলো রাতের নামাজ (তাহাজ্জুদ)।
The two rak'ahs before Fajr are better than the world and all that is in it.
ফজরের দুই রাকাত সুন্নাত দুনিয়া ও তার মধ্যে যা কিছু আছে তার চেয়ে উত্তম।
When the people of Paradise enter it, Allah will say: Do you want anything more? They will say: Have You not brightened our faces and admitted us to Paradise? Then He will remove the veil, and nothing given to them will be more beloved than gazing at their Lord.
জান্নাতবাসী জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করলে আল্লাহ বলবেন: আরও কিছু চাও? তারা বলবে: আপনি কি আমাদের মুখ উজ্জ্বল করেননি এবং জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করাননি? তখন তিনি পর্দা সরিয়ে দেবেন, এবং তাদের রবের দিকে তাকানোর চেয়ে প্রিয় কিছু তাদের দেওয়া হবে না।
There should be no harm and no reciprocating harm.
ক্ষতিও নয়, প্রতিশোধমূলক ক্ষতিও নয়।
Allah will punish those who punish people in this world.
আল্লাহ তাদেরকে শাস্তি দেবেন যারা দুনিয়ায় মানুষকে শাস্তি দেয়।
Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship in this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship on the Day of Judgment.
যে ব্যক্তি দুনিয়ায় কোনো মুমিনের একটি কষ্ট দূর করে, আল্লাহ কিয়ামতের দিন তার একটি কষ্ট দূর করবেন।
Whoever makes things easy for one in difficulty, Allah will make things easy for him in this world and the Hereafter.
যে ব্যক্তি কোনো অভাবগ্রস্তকে সহজ করে দেয়, আল্লাহ দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতে তার জন্য সহজ করে দেবেন।
Allah continues to help His servant as long as His servant helps his brother.
আল্লাহ ততক্ষণ বান্দার সাহায্যে থাকেন যতক্ষণ বান্দা তার ভাইয়ের সাহায্যে থাকে।
None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his father, his child, and all of mankind.
তোমাদের কেউ প্রকৃত মুমিন নয় যতক্ষণ না আমি তার কাছে তার পিতা, সন্তান এবং সমস্ত মানুষের চেয়ে বেশি প্রিয় হই।
Allah did not send any prophet who did not tend sheep.
আল্লাহ এমন কোনো নবী পাঠাননি যিনি ভেড়া চরাননি।
Indeed, Allah is beautiful and loves beauty.
নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সুন্দর এবং তিনি সৌন্দর্য পছন্দ করেন।
Delaying payment by the wealthy is oppression.
সম্পদশালীর ঋণ পরিশোধে বিলম্ব করা জুলুম।
Whoever seizes the right of a Muslim by a false oath, Allah makes the Fire obligatory for him and Paradise forbidden.
যে ব্যক্তি মিথ্যা শপথ দিয়ে কোনো মুসলিমের অধিকার ছিনিয়ে নেয়, আল্লাহ তার জন্য জাহান্নাম অবধারিত ও জান্নাত হারাম করে দেন।
Allah loves the servant who is pious, self-sufficient, and inconspicuous.
আল্লাহ সেই বান্দাকে ভালোবাসেন যে তাকওয়াবান, অমুখাপেক্ষী এবং নির্জনতাপ্রিয়।
The first thing Allah created was the Pen. He said to it: Write. So it wrote everything that would occur until the Day of Judgment.
আল্লাহ সর্বপ্রথম কলম সৃষ্টি করলেন এবং তাকে বললেন: লেখো। তখন সে কিয়ামত পর্যন্ত যা হবে সব লিখে ফেলল।
You will never leave something for the sake of Allah except that Allah will replace it with something better for you.
তুমি আল্লাহর জন্য কিছু ত্যাগ করলে আল্লাহ অবশ্যই তোমাকে তার চেয়ে উত্তম কিছু দান করবেন।
If you ask, ask Allah. If you seek help, seek help from Allah.
যখন চাইবে, আল্লাহর কাছে চাও। যখন সাহায্য চাইবে, আল্লাহর কাছে সাহায্য চাও।
Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you.
আল্লাহকে স্মরণ রাখো, তিনি তোমাকে রক্ষা করবেন। আল্লাহকে স্মরণ রাখো, তাঁকে তোমার সামনে পাবে।
Know that if the entire nation gathered to benefit you, they would not benefit you except with what Allah has decreed for you.
জেনে রাখো, যদি সমস্ত উম্মত একত্র হয়ে তোমার উপকার করতে চায়, তারা কেবল ততটুকুই করতে পারবে যা আল্লাহ তোমার জন্য লিখে রেখেছেন।
Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; whoever dislikes meeting Allah, Allah dislikes meeting him.
যে আল্লাহর সাথে সাক্ষাৎ পছন্দ করে, আল্লাহও তার সাথে সাক্ষাৎ পছন্দ করেন। যে আল্লাহর সাথে সাক্ষাৎ অপছন্দ করে, আল্লাহও তার সাথে সাক্ষাৎ অপছন্দ করেন।
Prompt your dying ones with 'La ilaha illallah.'
তোমাদের মুমূর্ষু ব্যক্তিদের 'লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ' তালকীন করো।
O Allah, help me in remembering You, thanking You, and worshipping You well.
হে আল্লাহ, তোমাকে স্মরণ করতে, তোমার শুকরিয়া আদায় করতে এবং সুন্দরভাবে তোমার ইবাদত করতে আমাকে সাহায্য করো।
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
হে আমাদের রব, দুনিয়ায় কল্যাণ দাও, আখিরাতেও কল্যাণ দাও এবং জাহান্নামের আগুন থেকে রক্ষা করো।
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety, sorrow, weakness, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, the burden of debt, and being overpowered by others.
হে আল্লাহ, আমি তোমার কাছে দুশ্চিন্তা, দুঃখ, অক্ষমতা, অলসতা, কৃপণতা, ভীরুতা, ঋণের বোঝা ও মানুষের দ্বারা পরাভূত হওয়া থেকে আশ্রয় চাই।
The most enviable person in my view is a believer with little baggage who has a share of prayer.
আমার দৃষ্টিতে সবচেয়ে ঈর্ষণীয় ব্যক্তি সেই মুমিন যে সামান্য সম্পদের অধিকারী কিন্তু নামাজে তার অংশ আছে।
Whoever wishes to have his provision expanded and his life extended should maintain family ties.
যে ব্যক্তি চায় তার রিযিক বৃদ্ধি হোক ও আয়ু দীর্ঘ হোক, সে যেন আত্মীয়তার বন্ধন বজায় রাখে।
You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love each other. Shall I not tell you something which, if you do it, will make you love each other? Spread salam among you.
তোমরা জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে না যতক্ষণ না ঈমান আনো, আর ঈমানদার হবে না যতক্ষণ না পরস্পরকে ভালোবাসো। আমি কি তোমাদের এমন কিছু বলব যা করলে তোমরা পরস্পরকে ভালোবাসবে? নিজেদের মধ্যে সালাম ছড়িয়ে দাও।
The merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on earth, and the One in the heavens will be merciful to you.
দয়াশীলদের প্রতি রহমান দয়া করেন। পৃথিবীবাসীর প্রতি দয়া করো, আসমানের অধিপতি তোমাদের প্রতি দয়া করবেন।
Allah, His angels, and the inhabitants of the heavens and earth — even the ant in its hole and the fish — send blessings upon the one who teaches people good.
আল্লাহ, তাঁর ফেরেশতাগণ, আসমান ও জমিনের অধিবাসীরা — এমনকি গর্তের পিঁপড়া ও মাছ পর্যন্ত — মানুষকে ভালো শিক্ষাদানকারীর জন্য দু'আ করে।
Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.
ইলম অন্বেষণ করা প্রতিটি মুসলিমের উপর ফরজ।
Whoever says 'SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi' a hundred times morning and evening, none will come on the Day of Judgment with anything better than what he brought.
যে ব্যক্তি সকালে ও সন্ধ্যায় একশত বার 'সুবহানাল্লাহি ওয়া বিহামদিহি' বলে, কিয়ামতের দিন কেউ তার চেয়ে উত্তম কিছু নিয়ে আসবে না।
Whoever says 'SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi,' a palm tree will be planted for him in Paradise.
যে ব্যক্তি 'সুবহানাল্লাহি ওয়া বিহামদিহি' বলে, তার জন্য জান্নাতে একটি খেজুর গাছ রোপণ করা হয়।
Charity extinguishes sin just as water extinguishes fire.
সদকা গুনাহকে নিভিয়ে দেয় যেমন পানি আগুন নিভিয়ে দেয়।
O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and made it forbidden among you, so do not oppress one another.
হে আমার বান্দারা, আমি জুলুমকে নিজের জন্য হারাম করেছি এবং তোমাদের মাঝেও হারাম করেছি, তাই একে অপরের উপর জুলুম করো না।
O My servants, all of you are astray except those whom I have guided, so seek guidance from Me and I will guide you.
হে আমার বান্দারা, তোমরা সকলেই পথভ্রষ্ট তাদের ছাড়া যাদেরকে আমি হিদায়াত দিয়েছি, তাই আমার কাছে হিদায়াত চাও, আমি তোমাদের হিদায়াত দেব।
O My servants, all of you are hungry except those whom I have fed, so seek food from Me and I will feed you.
হে আমার বান্দারা, তোমরা সকলেই ক্ষুধার্ত তাদের ছাড়া যাদের আমি খাইয়েছি, তাই আমার কাছে খাদ্য চাও, আমি তোমাদের খাওয়াব।
When Allah loves a servant, He calls Jibril and says: I love so-and-so, so love him. Jibril loves him and then announces it to the inhabitants of the heavens.
আল্লাহ যখন কোনো বান্দাকে ভালোবাসেন, তিনি জিবরাঈলকে ডেকে বলেন: আমি অমুককে ভালোবাসি, তুমিও তাকে ভালোবাসো। তখন জিবরাঈল তাকে ভালোবাসেন এবং আসমানবাসীদের মাঝে ঘোষণা দেন।
Whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will raise him to the rank of martyrs even if he dies in his bed.
যে ব্যক্তি আন্তরিকভাবে আল্লাহর কাছে শাহাদাত কামনা করে, আল্লাহ তাকে শহীদদের মর্যাদায় পৌঁছে দেবেন — যদিও সে বিছানায় মৃত্যুবরণ করে।
Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning or evening, Allah prepares for him a place in Paradise each time he goes.
যে ব্যক্তি সকালে বা সন্ধ্যায় মসজিদে যায়, আল্লাহ প্রতিবারই তার জন্য জান্নাতে আপ্যায়ন প্রস্তুত করেন।
Give glad tidings to those who walk in the darkness to the mosques of a complete light on the Day of Judgment.
যারা অন্ধকারে হেঁটে মসজিদে যায় তাদের কিয়ামতের দিন পূর্ণ আলোর সুসংবাদ দাও।
Supplication between the adhan and iqamah is not rejected.
আযান ও ইকামতের মধ্যবর্তী সময়ের দু'আ ফিরিয়ে দেওয়া হয় না।
Whoever misses the Asr prayer, his deeds are nullified.
যে ব্যক্তি আসরের নামাজ ত্যাগ করে তার আমল বিনষ্ট হয়ে যায়।
When the imam says 'Ameen,' say 'Ameen' too. Whoever's ameen coincides with the ameen of the angels, his past sins will be forgiven.
ইমাম যখন আমীন বলেন, তোমরাও আমীন বলো। যার আমীন ফেরেশতাদের আমীনের সাথে মিলে যায়, তার পূর্বের গুনাহ মাফ হয়ে যায়।
Hold fast to the night prayer, for it is the practice of the righteous before you.
রাতের নামাজকে আঁকড়ে ধরো, কারণ এটি তোমাদের আগের নেককারদের অভ্যাস।
A man's prayer in congregation exceeds his prayer at home or in the marketplace by twenty-five degrees.
জামাতে নামাজ ঘরে বা বাজারে নামাজের চেয়ে পঁচিশ গুণ বেশি মর্যাদাবান।
A woman's modesty is precious; when she goes out, the Shaytan tries to tempt through her (so she should guard her dignity).
নারীর পর্দা মূল্যবান; সে যখন বের হয় শয়তান তার মাধ্যমে প্রলুব্ধ করতে চায় (তাই তার মর্যাদা রক্ষা করা উচিত)।
Any woman who removes her garment outside her home has torn the veil between herself and Allah.
যে নারী ঘরের বাইরে তার কাপড় খোলে, আল্লাহ তার ও তাঁর মাঝের পর্দা ছিঁড়ে দেন।
The best rows for men are the first, and the worst are the last. The best rows for women are the last, and the worst are the first.
পুরুষদের সর্বোত্তম কাতার প্রথমটি এবং সবচেয়ে খারাপ শেষটি। নারীদের সর্বোত্তম কাতার শেষটি এবং সবচেয়ে খারাপ প্রথমটি।
Whoever eats garlic or onion, let him stay away from us and from our mosque.
যে ব্যক্তি রসুন বা পেঁয়াজ খায়, সে যেন আমাদের থেকে এবং আমাদের মসজিদ থেকে দূরে থাকে।
Whoever gives food to break the fast of a fasting person will receive a reward like his without diminishing the fasting person's reward.
যে ব্যক্তি কোনো রোযাদারকে ইফতার করায়, সে রোযাদারের সমান সওয়াব পাবে, অথচ রোযাদারের সওয়াব কমবে না।
The Night of Decree is in the last ten nights of Ramadan.
লাইলাতুল কদর রমজানের শেষ দশ রাতে।
The scholars are the heirs of the Prophets.
আলেমরা নবীদের উত্তরাধিকারী।
Whoever conceals knowledge will be bridled with a bridle of fire on the Day of Judgment.
যে ব্যক্তি ইলম গোপন করে, কিয়ামতের দিন তাকে আগুনের লাগাম পরানো হবে।
The halal is clear and the haram is clear, and between them are doubtful matters which many people do not know about.
হালাল সুস্পষ্ট এবং হারামও সুস্পষ্ট, আর এই দুইয়ের মাঝে সন্দেহজনক বিষয় রয়েছে যা অনেকেই জানে না।
Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt.
যা তোমাকে সন্দেহে ফেলে তা ছেড়ে দাও এবং যা সন্দেহমুক্ত তা গ্রহণ করো।
Part of the excellence of a person's Islam is leaving what does not concern him.
একজন ব্যক্তির ইসলামের সৌন্দর্য হলো অপ্রয়োজনীয় বিষয় ত্যাগ করা।
Whoever fulfills the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs.
যে ব্যক্তি তার ভাইয়ের প্রয়োজন পূরণে থাকে, আল্লাহ তার প্রয়োজন পূরণে থাকেন।
Every joint of a person must perform a charity every day the sun rises.
মানুষের প্রতিটি জোড়ার জন্য প্রতিদিন সূর্য ওঠার সাথে সাথে সদকা দিতে হয়।
A good word is charity.
ভালো কথা বলা সদকা।
Removing harmful objects from the road is charity.
রাস্তা থেকে কষ্টদায়ক বস্তু সরানো সদকা।
Among what the spring vegetation produces is what kills by overeating or brings close to it (referring to excess worldly pursuit).
বসন্তের তৃণলতা যা উৎপন্ন করে তার কিছু অতিরিক্ত খাওয়ায় মৃত্যু ঘটায় বা কাছাকাছি নিয়ে যায় (পার্থিব লোভের রূপক)।
Be detached from the world and Allah will love you; be detached from what people have and people will love you.
দুনিয়ার প্রতি নির্মোহ হও, আল্লাহ তোমাকে ভালোবাসবেন। মানুষের কাছে যা আছে তার প্রতি নির্মোহ হও, মানুষ তোমাকে ভালোবাসবে।
This wealth is attractive and sweet. Whoever takes it rightfully and spends it rightfully, it is an excellent aid.
এই সম্পদ সবুজ ও মিষ্টি। যে এটি বৈধভাবে নেয় এবং সঠিক স্থানে ব্যয় করে, তার জন্য এটি চমৎকার সহায়ক।
Both buyer and seller have the right of option over each other as long as they have not separated, except in the case of option transactions.
ক্রেতা-বিক্রেতা উভয়ে পৃথক না হওয়া পর্যন্ত একে অপরের উপর বাতিলের অধিকার রাখে, তবে শর্তযুক্ত বেচাকেনা ব্যতীত।
Whoever takes a bath on Friday like a bath of janabah and goes early, it is as if he has sacrificed a camel.
যে ব্যক্তি জুমুআর দিনে জানাবাতের গোসলের মতো গোসল করে এবং আগে মসজিদে যায়, সে যেন একটি উট কুরবানি করল।
On Friday there is an hour in which no Muslim stands praying and asks Allah for something except that He gives it to him.
জুমুআর দিনে এমন একটি মুহূর্ত আছে যখন কোনো মুসলিম দাঁড়িয়ে নামাজ পড়ে আল্লাহর কাছে কিছু চাইলে আল্লাহ তা দেন।
Whoever washes a dead body should take a bath.
যে ব্যক্তি মৃত ব্যক্তিকে গোসল দেয়, সে যেন নিজেও গোসল করে।
If a dog licks a vessel of yours, wash it seven times, the first with earth.
তোমাদের কারো পাত্রে কুকুর মুখ দিলে সাতবার ধোও, প্রথমবার মাটি দিয়ে।
O Allah, bless our Sham and our Yemen.
হে আল্লাহ, আমাদের শামে এবং ইয়ামানে বরকত দাও।
Whoever wears a new garment and says 'Alhamdulillahil-ladhi kasani hadha,' Allah will forgive his past sins.

Whoever learns knowledge meant for seeking the Face of Allah but learns it only for worldly gain will not smell the fragrance of Paradise.

A parent has not given a child a better gift than good manners.

O Allah, make me among the repentant and make me among those who purify themselves.
হে আল্লাহ, আমাকে তওবাকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করো এবং পবিত্রতা অর্জনকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করো।
Whoever performs wudu properly then prays two rak'ahs without his mind wandering, his past sins will be forgiven.

Allah said: Whoever takes a friend of Mine as an enemy, I declare war against him.

My servant continues to draw nearer to Me through voluntary acts of worship until I love him.

Allah says: I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him when he remembers Me.

Whoever gives the adhan for twelve years, Paradise becomes obligatory for him.

Do not curse the dead, for they have reached what they put forward.

Allah has ninety-nine Names — one hundred minus one. Whoever encompasses them (learns and acts by them) will enter Paradise.

The Hour will not come until people compete in constructing elaborate mosques.
ততক্ষণ কিয়ামত হবে না যতক্ষণ না মানুষ মসজিদ নিয়ে গর্ব ও প্রতিযোগিতা করে।
Two types of people of the Fire I have not yet seen: people with whips like the tails of cattle beating others, and women clothed yet naked.
দুই শ্রেণির জাহান্নামী আমি এখনও দেখিনি: গরুর লেজের মতো চাবুক দিয়ে মানুষকে প্রহারকারী দল, এবং পোশাক পরেও উলঙ্গ নারী।
Whoever visits a sick person or visits a brother for Allah's sake, a caller will call: You are good, your walk is good, and you have taken a place in Paradise.
যে ব্যক্তি কোনো অসুস্থ ব্যক্তিকে দেখতে যায় বা আল্লাহর জন্য কোনো ভাইয়ের সাথে দেখা করে, একজন ঘোষক ডেকে বলে: তুমি উত্তম, তোমার পথচলা উত্তম, তুমি জান্নাতে তোমার ঠিকানা করে নিয়েছ।
Visit the sick, feed the hungry, and free the captive.
অসুস্থকে দেখতে যাও, ক্ষুধার্তকে খাওয়াও এবং বন্দীকে মুক্ত করো।
The Muslim has six rights over another Muslim: greet him when you meet, accept his invitation, advise him when he seeks it, respond to his sneeze, visit him when sick, and attend his funeral.
মুসলিমের উপর মুসলিমের ছয়টি অধিকার: সাক্ষাৎকালে সালাম দেওয়া, দাওয়াত দিলে গ্রহণ করা, পরামর্শ চাইলে দেওয়া, হাঁচি দিলে উত্তর দেওয়া, অসুস্থ হলে দেখতে যাওয়া এবং মারা গেলে জানাযায় যোগ দেওয়া।
Whoever dies knowing that there is no god but Allah will enter Paradise.
যে ব্যক্তি এই অবস্থায় মারা যায় যে সে জানে আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোনো ইলাহ নেই, সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে।
Do not wish for death, for the terror of what follows is severe. It is a blessing for a servant to have a long life and be granted repentance by Allah.

ইসলামি ফিকহের বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে হাদিস রয়েছে। ছয়টি প্রধান সংকলনের অংশ, যেখানে অন্যগুলোতে পাওয়া যায় না এমন অনন্য বর্ণনা আছে।
সুনানে আন-নাসাঈ
ইমাম আহমদ আন-নাসাঈ (৮২৯–৯১৫ খ্রি.)
হাদিস যাচাইয়ে কঠোর মান বজায় রাখার জন্য পরিচিত। ইমাম নাসাঈ বর্ণনাকারীদের মূল্যায়নে বিশেষভাবে কঠোর ছিলেন।
